    Dear [STRIKE]Diary[/STRIKE] The Swell Season,

You CAN read minds! I wanna do it on the pink pony, though. Pretty please?

You must be super-duper smart because you understood my snack joke. My bottom itches, too, but it's just some pesky worms so I use a special cream and no cans.

(You can call me Sissy L.L. for short.)

I love you. You're now my favorite, even if it's your fault.

    Love,
    Sissy L.L.

    Dear Sissy L.L.

Of course we can do it on the pink pony! I love pink ponies! And don't worry, you're my favorite too.

Love always and can't wait to [STRIKE]make love to[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]meat[/STRIKE] meet you,

    Dear Tech Support/Ask a Mod,

At first I was. Then all of a sudden I wasn't. *very sad*

Is there still a chance I could be?

Thanks in advance, (and love what you've done with your hair!)

    Best Regards,

    Og
  4. Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

    Dear Og,

I'm not sure what the fuck you're talking about, but I think the best thing to do would be to head to your nearest Scientology Org. Or, just get used to the whole "not knowing if you exist" thing. Perhaps reading some Henry David Thoreau would help you to pass the time.

I haven't done anything with my hair, and this whole question is starting to annoy me, so I'm going to go back to cuddling with my kitten.

    Your's Truly

Are you really Mods? Do you hang on Carnaby St? And is this an attempt to bring back the swinging 60's?

You normally should have received a private message on sign up explaining that you have been put in a probatory group meant to separate real users from spammers, you will be able to edit your signature after having posted several messages. We're sorry for the inconvenience this initially might represent, but this measure in the long run improves the sites readability (less/no spam).

If you did not receive this message or an email stating something along the lines of what i said above, please let me know so i can check if the message is being sent out.

I'd like to make a request of the administrators.

When someone gets an infraction, I see that they get a "all the best" at the end of their infraction notice. Could that "all the best" be changed to something a bit more interesting?

Is it an automatic count? Or do you guys have to notice our posts and hand-approve our getting off of probation? if the latter, please notice me and get me off of probation. I miss having an avatar and byline.

Why does posting in the Tom and Katie megathread produce a "Bad Gateway" result? (Besides the usual smartass replies)

  23. Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Because it's such a large thread. It's meaningless. Your post should be there if you backspace a couple of pages and refresh.
  24. Belladonna Member

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

    Ach.
    What's meaningless? I no follow.
It never disappears, it just hangs up for an inordinate amount of time, and then defaults to "Bad Gateway." I've noticed that for some people it results in a double post. Should we start an new thread, then? 'Cause like it or not, TomKat are not going away :)
  25. Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

    Repeat:
Your post should be there if you backspace a couple of pages and refresh.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Odd. When I click "Mark forums read," I get this error:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

Then when I click the "inform the administrator" link, I get exactly the same error. Seems to occur in Safari and Firefox, so is unlikely to be just a cookie. I have no clue what it's about.
  28. Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

It's a known issue, and it's low on the list of things to fix at the moment.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Is there anything that can be done to fix the "Marty bug" currently infesting this site?

Ok, I'll de-cloak. I don't usually consider myself a baaawer, and I start lots of threads.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Good. boy. Now, please consider the following:
    1. There are information on Marty's blog that are not available elsewhere
    2. Marty is completely delusional.

Question: Can we analyse the information found on his blog ? My answer is yes, if we are cautious, but I can understand that others think otherwise.

AFAIK, nobody here is supporting Marty.
  33. OTBT Member

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

So can a new sub-forum be started just for analyzing Marty posts?

I'm not blaming Kha Khan for re-posting Marty crap; I do appreciate KK's work cause I sure don't want to wade through Martyville for any period of time.

I'm just worried that so many people will pay attention to MartySpew that the original target is derailed - dismantling CofS in its current form. To me, that includes removing tax-exemption, Sea Org, RPF, disconnection, scilon ethics (the greatest good for CofS), fair game, KSW, etc.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

A sub-forum might be too much. A situation room perhaps.

I am sure a large majority of the people here share your goal.
  35. OTBT Member

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Situation room might be a good idea.

I've had too many beers, calling it a night before I get infracted for stupidity.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

I agree that a situation room for it would be a good thing, suggested it to other mods.

Re: WWP Tech Support/Ask A Mod

Just a heads up to whoever may be interested on here (or any other anons who want to create a video website), RuTube now has an API, where you use their backbone to load/host videos.
javascript (for html pages) and PHP (for sites like this) is available. The videos would be uploaded to your existing channel. For further info here's the link: rutube.ru/partners/index.html (you must be logged in to view this section) left col nav-links lead to different sections.
[suggestion: have a second window with google translate ready. comes in handy]

Is there a reason I can't edit my own posts that are a little old (say, from May this year)?
