Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report That was quite a good day. There were 4 of us in total, (one of us turned up at about 5pm, *cough*) handing our flyers out on the Winchester high street. I've lost count of how much we handed out today, a good 500 at least. We had to go back and make more photocopies! All in all, we only met one douchebag, (sorry, for most of it you get a lovely view of Nationwide) but other than that, we had a lot of interest. A lot of people actually stopped to have a chat and actually listened to what we were saying. With luck, we may even have got a few new recruits to the cause. Mostly students, but a couple of "grown ups" (lol) said how disgusted they were at what was going on and said they wanted to do something about it. Vinonymous had a lot of positive feedback, too. Much respect to Diamond who wore the anonymous flag as a cape (the council wouldn't let us fly it). ETA~ At least 2 of us popped our Anonymous virgin cherries today <3 FECK, I completely forgot to mention. We went to a pub for an hour to get some food. What comes on the radio when we sit down? Rick mother licking Astley! We LOLed. Hard.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Hmmmm=Do you have another video? The man seems to have problems with the masks (or is he $cilon...tim foil hat?)..BTW the woman at the cashpoint does have a nice arse...
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report No extra video I'm afraid, he buggered off right after that.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Sounds like you may have met a local scilon. Or a bloody concern troll. What an annoying voice that guy had.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Tell me about it. He would NOT let me finish a sentence! He didn't come to talk to us, he came to talk AT us. Made me quite angry, which I'm sure was the point.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Well done all. That man was such a pain - talk about not getting the point behind wearing the mask. The rick roll at the pub was funny and a great way to end the raid.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Aye, we dance on the sci's backs to the sweet song of the highlands.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Those are some nice pics, SB. Should I upload some of my other photos...?
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Are you guys going to be doing anymore of these in Winchester? I can get there quite easily and would be up for coming along.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report We were going to move around to other Hampshire cities, but I'm sure another Winchester one will happen. Here's the group's base: Southampton Anons More people are definitely welcome!! Thanks namenlos. Yes, MOAR.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Are there even any scifags or an org in winchester? Not really seeing the point of this. I used to live there, so the town's kinda precious to me, and I'd hate to see it fall to them, but it really is Bible belt territory and I can't reallt see the cult getting a foothold.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Boris: The scifags have been spotted leafleting in Winchester on more than one occasion. Consequently, it's entirely appropriate to spread some joy there, even if we can't match schedules with them.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Cakeplz, come join us at SoAnons vvvv we can organize stuff more easily then BorisAnyonymous, you don't see the point in trying to get the word out about what the cult is getting away with, and warning people not to take their free stress test? We have been seeing more flyer handing out than before, admittedly we haven't seen the table in the last few months, though. I think we need every town to hear both sides of the story. Here you go, SB I didn't take too many, I'm afraid. This guy I was a bit suspicious of, as he kept taking photos. Admittedly, we do look like freaks, but I walked up and down the highstreet a few times and he was still in the same place...
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report I'm pretty sure he was a French tourist/photographer. He had a group of Frenchies and and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. I stopped walking so he could get a shot. He was moving around later on.
Re: Winchester, March 6th - Post fliering event report Thats good then. I live on the Surrey/Hampshire border so am quite close.
