    fixed

That'd be fantastic. I'm pretty good with computars in general but I don't have a lot of specific wiki experience... luckily we do have a gentleman on board that is, but i'd rather he not get overworked by being the lone resident expert. Any suggestions as to extensions, layout, etc would be good.

Another area we could really use some help in is template creation and general layout.. We have a pretty solid base but it could always be better.

    Sure thing, just do this:
    Code:
     [wiki ]Anonymous[ /wiki ]

FYI, this site was based on the first link.. the only data we removed was the stuff that was copyright and shouldn't be on this server (that's what wikileaks is for).. We certainly could use some help in migrating the translation project(s) however!

Much consolidation is needed here. I'd like to focus on active (new) projects or collectible information for the wiki. If you can find any of that, then we'll transfer it.

OKay, pardon my slightly confused attitude here...but WTF happened to the End the Cult wiki?

AnonHubbard is pretty much the only person keeping it running. I tried to make an effort to contribute but I just don't have the time to be able to do the research necessary to be valuable to the effort.

I understand this is more Anon oriented, but I also get the feeling people want to use it for many of the exact same things End the Cult was created for. I also don't want to see this just abandoned to the wayside.

End the cult is a PRETTY website created to appeal to just about anyone. Think of ETC wiki as gourmet (articles), while wiki.wwp is fast food (projects).

When I created wiki.wwp, I never intended it to be refined. I have several anon-focused projects, and some scientology data-collection related projects. Perhaps the data collected will be useful to somebody later at some point, perhaps not. The point is that until we made a project wiki, there were so many people willing to do this raw research, but little more than a forum to dump it on.

Since we're using the whyweprotest.net domain, along with some more memorable URLs, there will be some SEO value too.

I still encourage the use of ETC wiki, but it doesn't exist for the same purposes that I set out to accomplish here.

K, cool. I'm starting to see a process forming here.

WWP forums is discussion that stimulates creation of action and gathering of data.

WWP wiki is data in raw/semi-raw form for fast harvesting as result of data gathering, for use in action.

ETC is useful tool for reaching public and providing them with processed data in a single location.

Sorry, just the way my mind thinks, I've got to see a sequence in how actions/data flows. Now I've got it. So there'll be some cross over between WWP wiki and ETC wiki, the main difference being that ETC is a more finished type product for presenting to public. WWP is for us more than for the public.

    This is exactly correct.

Never apologize for asking questions. There are no stupid questions :)

Re: wiki.whyweprotest.net - a new place for collaborative work

Also, anything that ends up on wiki.wwp that really belongs over on ETC's wiki can be easily transferred since we're all friends :)

leastwise that's what you all taught me ;)

    Well that was constructive.

Anyway, I think we should look at the Still Alive cell project and a few other directory listings, contact the buggers individually, and notify them on List of IRL raids - Why We Protest Wiki for their editing pleasure.

Re: wiki.whyweprotest.net - a new place for collaborative work

I actually disagree with that approach. I created that page so that individuals from the respective locations would come and tweak the page themselves. If nobody ends updating their wiki page (regularly), then what's the point?

Methinks its best to wait for people to add their own locations.

The only thing that worries me is that $cilons will learn of this and use it to twist our motivations so they can share those lies with the general public.

I went through and assigned all of the assault videos there to locations and dates, but I know we have more assault videos. If you find more, please add them to the site: Reports of assault against protesters - Why We Protest Wiki

    any other suggestions you lot?

[STRIKE]Mods, could we have a WWP wiki forum, in active projects, then the couple of threads from this board can be moved to there?[/STRIKE]

Re: wiki.whyweprotest.net - a new place for collaborative work

I don't think so. Make a wiki meta page for the collation project. Then you can just put links to the threads there. Or use tags to tag the threads.

A wiki is better at indexing information from relevant threads than by making more subforms. That's kinda why we have the wiki.

If you just want to collect threads you might want to make a special tag, such as "wikifodder" and tag those threads. See tags: http://forums.whyweprotest.net/tags/

If you want to discuss and collaborate about the wiki, use wiki talk pages and meta pages.

paging wiki maestros to the white phone. i need halp and i'm not iirc savvy enough to go into the underworld and seek the non-crayon touting oracles of wiki wisdom.

Now that i got CofS Exit Survey project launched and setup with a basic overview page,

i need the wiki to do things it doesnt seem to wanna let me do - upload reporting files in pdf & csv format that arent images. is this possible? seems like "upload file" only takes images? none of my stuff is copyrighted nor leaks... can i haz cheezeburger plox?

I don't think upload is working for images either. I still get:
