I am sorry but is Graham going to make a call to action on the lack of action?
  2. Xenu Is Lord Member

He has invited it by being dum enough to let people petition him.

Did I write ANYWHERE that he shouldn't have at least tried?
Still, I think what I said is the most likely outcome.

A petition is what it is: a petition. The administration hasn't lost anything by letting people petition them and they are not required to take any action at all aside from some written reaction.
However, whatever the reaction on this, we may be able to use the response the White House will be issuing on this in whatever manner. And based alone on this, the petition has merit.

No, they loose something by putting up a petition and stating they will review it and then not doing it. What they loose is peoples confidence but of course that is only as long as people call them out on it.

My take is that responses so far are "diplomatic". That the Co$ petition has no official response yet is good news to me. Graham worded it very carefully, and the official response will again be subject to public scrutiny by many more people than those who signed it.

    TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND?

How the hell do they expect a petition to get twenty five thousand signatures? That's going to remove all chance of success for every petition except, like, legalizing marijuana.

....oh, I see what you did thar, Obama.

    Have they done nothing yet?

Other than allow the midget to sweat about what they might be doing with all the time they have had to reply? Let them take all the time they like. He probably has nightmares about the FBI raiding them all the time now.

Nothing to do can be an active pursuit, like in the play Waiting for Goddammit.

<- mfw you all actually thought something would come of this. lol

sorta like your hopes of landing that job as a greasetrap monkey at falafel hut

    let me guess
your blow up doll sprang a leak

Yes, we did. Publicity. With all the articles on the net that have mentioned or acknowledged it, we got a good troll. I'd say success was obtained. Gov't-level success? Pfft.
  28. Herro Member

<- mfw you actually believe that

  29. There is this new petition to protest the not listening to petitions by the white house
  30. RolandRB Member

But this time it needs many more votes :(
  31. Don't be so negative

Whats the Stat on it anyway ?
  32. Anonymous Member

Yes, that is what I just posted.

    Just dreaming:
The White House delayed their answer this long so the fibbies could arrange and carry out a big fat co-ordinated raid on every Sci org in the country.
