What's a "roll back"?
What's a "roll back"? The term was used in reference to Gold Base.
Re: What's a "roll back"?
It refers to what is done to handle a member who has read information on the net and started to believe it might be true. Supposedly they are shown the real evidence demonizing the sources of the information or refuting it, for example if the person read the penthouse interview, they would be shown the recant affidavit that Hubbard's son signed, omitting the fact that it was signed under duress, while he was broke, and for payment, for example; and claiming that the material on the net "is all lies" until they accept this claim to be true. Then the 'roll back' has been successful. A successful 'rollback' puts the person back into Hubbard's trance...
The key techniques of CONfidence men and women is to OMIT key information (as above) while demanding something from the person now (money, allegiance) in exchange for something in the future.(OT, ubermensch)
