What to do about headcount threads?

What to do about headcount threads?

It appears that headcount threads are a bit of a concern for some Anonymous. Scientologists/osa care a great deal about statistics, and some people are concerned that these threads may be encouraging this behaviour of theirs or causing anons to emulate them.

Another concern I've seen is the immediate focus on headcount after major protests rather than other "wins" involved with protests such as media coverage, public awareness/approval, etc.

So, TL;DR: Should we still have public headcount threads? Should this be a matter for decentralized factions only? What about making fake, silly headcount threads instead? What should be done/not done when someone attempts to post a real headcount? Should it be domed as one recently was? Should a thread listing global "wins" be put up instead after worldwide protests?

If this subject has already been covered here, sorry. I just noticed that this comes up every month.

nix the counts. we have flash raids nao and those counts aren't even relevant, nor are they tallied

counts are becoming less useful to us

if one does happen to pop up, gore spam will force it into the dome.

If you're Anonymous and do pickets, it's not about headcounts; it's about impact and lulz. If you're having no impact or lulz, waddle your fat ass off the street and do something else to serve justice on the Scilons. Definitely don't compound your fuckups by bawwwwwwing about the lack of numbers or support. Instead, break out the dictionary and look up the word jewdicious. For most, an epic splash once a year is doable and has more impact than a monthly drone fest. Anonymous is legion and we will not be narrowly defined by pickets.

I say dome that shit skittle, it is irellevant.

In the beginning, we needed large numbers, to prove that we where srs bsns, and this was accomplished. We are now able to close orgs using surprise, wit and dedication.

A headcount is worthless, we do not matter, what matters is that we save in the internets and kill scientology.

Agreed. Pointless headcount threads are pointless. Each individual splinter cell knows if their numbers are up or down each time, just by looking around. Thats good enough, really.

Yea, headcount threads aren't useful. If anyone wants the stats, let them put the time into digging it up for themselves if they're that desperate.

Serveral very good comments concerning the headcount were made today. As the official leader of Anonymous, I hereby declare that everybody shall be banned from the internet who starts a serious headcount thread.
