I haven't bothered reading all these pages. I didn't realize this had blown up, as I have been bbusy with other things. That said, I wanted to weigh in:

I'm nobody, but I do know about Marblecake (having played in that place a few times) and in the interests of full disclosure, here's my point of view.

I got invited to Marblecake a little while ago, sometime after my videos came out, and recieved a warm welcome by Enturb and Anons. There was a general rule of "you don't discuss fight club", but I never felt like I was a part of something that was trying to RUN anonymous (since that would be impossible). In truth, it just seemed like an international think tank amongst a few people of particular talents. The added secrecy seemed only reasonable, because of Scientologies natural tnedancy to misunderstand anything we do, and would see this cabal as the "LEADERS".

Apparently, some of Enturb sees it that way too.

There will ALWAYS be people who go on ego trips, and I don't care whether it's in a small group locally, or a secret group internationally. Ego will flare up somewhere, and thankfully, because of the way Anonymous is structured, ego doesn't last too long.

Some people in marblecake may have ego tripped from time to time, I don't know. All I saw was a bunch of talented people trying to provide Anonymous with quality fodder. What Anonymous did with it, was Anonymous' business.

I pushed the idea of Sea Arrrgh after reading about it on Something Awful. I was also a temporary member of Marblecake at this time. Does this mean that marblecake MADE Anonymous do Sea Arrrgh? If only I truly weilded that much power...

Some who are on the outside of Marblecake may take offence because it has operated in secret - again I say, it doesn't really matter. All MC can do is provide fodder that is either embraced or ignored. It can't RUN Anonymous. So if that is peoples concerns, please carry on as normal, you are mistaken.

I don't know anyhting about the MOD business on Enturb. That seems a little more alarming, but again, I caution you: We are a group of "people", and as it turns out we (all of us) are turning out to be a very powerful group of people. Power corrupts. It's to be expected. Anonymous, is thankfully the anecdote to power that tries to act outside Anonymous' best interest..

This thread's pretty much spent, I think. The newdome thread on the topic has been locked. We're starting to get a lower signal-to-noise ratio... Would it upset too many people if it were locked?

I'll give it ten minutes, if you all ask for it to stay open, I'll keep it open. I don't want a witchhunt of anybody, be it MPB, #MC, WB, enturbmods, anybody. I just want some of this drama to get worked out. We don't even have to like eachother - we just have to be able to work together (which means we have to be okay with dissenting and facing dissent) towards the goal of destroying the CoS.
