Thanks for that Michael...you know, if Nancy Grace (whom I despise) got a whiff of this...that the child was given purif and no treatment, blah blah blah...she's sink her teeth into the story and not let go until it was dead.

Yep. I watched her tonight, but it was a taped special on Caysee Anthony's death.

Let's send the story in. I love/hate that woman!

Most likely the plane would be sent for to pick up Scientology staff from Clearwater to come and "emergency handle" the situation. JT would get instant help (expensive too) because of his top celebrity connections with DM.

It seems reasonable that David Miscaviage will consider this a "flap" and get his remaining team members moving to try to limit the blowback to his criminal enterprise. Bet you the insane dwarf is very busy right now.

Thank you, Michael. This information will be put to good use.

I can't imagine how traumatic this would be for a family undergoing such a tragedy. I like John Travolta and have always thought he was talented. I feel very bad for him and his family. May his son rest in peace.

10 grams of niacin, and did you mean B3 instead of B1?! HOLY FUCK!!! I know about niacin's therapeutic use for treatment of high cholesterol, but toxicity sets in at the 2-3 gram mark, and sometimes lower. Legitimate therapeutic doses of niacin are therefore lower, and even those have sometimes unpleasant side-effects.
  9. Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

Niacin, 8 hour saunas, etc. There's a laundry list, and it's APPALLING.

They also have to run/jog a lot. Friend of a friend went through it a few years ago. :(

You had me at the 10 grams of niacin. What that shit can do to your liver... fuck me. And at best, you have flushing, like I've heard hot flashes described, that being at legitimate, medically-supervised therapeutic doses. I've never bothered to read all of the information, but I know the risks of niacin, so I latched onto it like DM latches onto his 5' stack of phone books to make him look almost human-sized.

So, exercise bulemia and niacin toxicity as a cure for what ails you. Brilliant.

Actually, it does make perfect sense, if the conditions you are trying to cure are depressingly long lifespans and excessive weight about the wallet. When Karen Carpenter was off her rocker, I bet she would have LOVED this.

Not 10g of Niacin, 10g of vitamin B1.
The niacin was only about 7g/day if I remember correctly.
The worst part was 5hours of sauna and drinking cooking oil yukkkk.

Thanks for this OP - a useful insight.

It shows the extreme level of invasive psychological interference that members of scientology are subjected to at incredibly painful and vulnerable times. It also explains the lack of compassion that is fundamental to scientology.

I made teh mistake once of volunteering to stand in for an absent "twin" for 2 days (twin=scn for another person on the same action).

Turned out the guy I was helping was a US Army drill Sgt 12 yrs younger and obviously in better shape...

2 miles of running, pant pant...let's go another 2...

(I apparently had amnesia on 'not volunteering')

  32. Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

    Thank you Michael.

While reading this and the replies...I was wondering about what would happen should such a tragedy befall one of us.

Getting my child to the nearest hospital would be the first thing (40 minutes is what I read the trip to the hospital was), then contacting my loved ones. Were I a member of a church, I would contact them for emotional support.

Now, there are changes with famous people. They have to contact lawyers, their managers and PR people, to deal with all of the media. But still....can you think of any other organization that calls itself a religion that would require anything like scientology seems to at such a time of grief and sorrow?

    NO

"Religions" would offer support and empathy...not search for the real reason someone died. And charge a bundle for it.

Someone should do the later (search for the reason the death occurred)...but not a god damned "religion".
    This makes me ill.

Hubbard believed that the toxins were 'stored' in fat cells in the body, and when they were released during the sauna/exercise sessions, you had to replace that, like with like (more or less).

The simple fact that drinking cooking oil is in no way a direct replacement for body fat, or that weight loss might actually be a benefit for some through the sauna, totally went over his head.

Science has, of course, proven that 'deep tissue fat' does not store toxins, but hey, why should Flubbtard let fact get in the way of things?

    for non-members:

It is not uncommon for Scientologists to come on to our board and do stupid things to make us look bad to the public at large your guess is as good as ours as to who they are.

    Edit:
As you see from the post below me I did come back and add an "L" in the word intended to be "Public"

Mrfyde's point is a good one. Ugliness like that posted two posts above may well be a Scientologist's attempt to make us look bad. Please read with caution.

The real disgusting part of scilon's handling of tragedy is NO sympathy. Scilons learn not to display sympathy or compassion. I hope the Travoltas see the difference in the scilon's dealings with them compared to the regular folk.

Just when I think I have a handle on their awfulness... 7 grams of niacin is still extraordinarily bad for you. And cooking oil?! At least the Christian Scientists don't actively try to harm their adherents. Insane, abusive cult is insane and abusive.

Messed up! So instead of a funeral and they can privately mourn and pray or whatever... the scientologists control the greiving process? Sickening control here... So they run you through all this shit, and they decide WHO was at fault and WHEN you have grieved enough. Oh and this process is charged at up to $1000 a hour and the cult can string this out as long as they think you will continue to pay for it.

    THIS IS BEYOND SICK.
