Re: What action re Freewinds/asbestos ? bump. and suggesting a package is compiled for sending to various law firms that deal with mesothelioma (sp?) cases.
Re: What action re Freewinds/asbestos ? I wonder how much it would cost to take out a full-page ad in a newspaper like USA Today? If reporters won't write the articles, can't we write them and publish them as advertisements? I think asbestos on the Freewinds could be tied in nicely with the next protest theme. There should definitely be signs about it.
Re: What action re Freewinds/asbestos ? Full page ads in newspapers cost an obscenely large amount of money. If you have between $10k and $200k then go for it (sauce), but otherwise the only reasonable way to do newspaper advertising would be in a local penny-saver.
Re: What action re Freewinds/asbestos ? Some newspapers allow Public Service Announcements free-of-charge. Notifying passengers of the Freewinds that they may have been exposed to asbestos seems like a PSA to me.
