We Are Anonymous South Africa

  1. Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma does not understand his position and the power THE PEOPLE have given him. The ANC was once symbol of freedom and change. It is currently a corrupt organisation where the leaders purpose are not to uplift the country and attempt to bridge the gap between wealthy and poor but rather uses the GIVEN power to exploit the positions for their benefit and those whom they surround themselves with; e.g. Gupta family. This needs to change. The people in these governmental positions must realize that they are not there for themselves but for us, the citizens of South Africa; of the Earth. There are many problems which need addressing, this is just one.

(www.youtube.com/watch?v=53tCd4jusxo ) this was posted 3 years ago, many of the issues mentioned are still occurring. We the People need to take South Africa back.

Nelson Mandela, for all his good traits as a human, must shoulder some of the burden for what went wrong in SA. He instituted a system where political dissent was dealt with within the ANC, rather then between political parties. That has turned out to be extremely unfortunate.

  6. The uneducated citizens of South Africa (mostly black due to the suppression from the apartheid regime) can not see what the ANC is today but rather what Nelson Mandela had done and that's why they continue to vote for them, as well as no other party seems anymore promising. Mandela did a great service for South Africa but he cant be blamed for an already corrupt system. Regardless of the political party or the president, no matter if their intentions are good; the system and how it's operated is based on influence of the wealthy and if we want change we need to separate the money from politics.

True. Real democracy relies on an educated public.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The saddest aspect is that the vast bulk of South Africans wont become politically engaged for change as the basics of survival have to be their primary focus. It will take an extraordinary individual possessed of great Charisma and the best of intentions for the people of South Africa to rise and shake the people awake, to give them hope for a better fairer future.
