Re: Verdict: GUILTY! French trial verdicts are in I'm not sure why everyone thinks the CoS can't change the way it operates. Now certainly it's a very rigid and dogmatic belief structure with strictly prescribed rituals due to KSW. However DM and the church leadership are the official "voice" of LRH. All those jokers have to do is "discover" a new LRH manuscript and be like, "Oh, Ron actually wanted us to do it this way (Be sure to buy the updated books!)." At the same time, the CoS has shown itself to be incredibly arrogant- often to the point of hubris. So maybe they'll keep on doing what they do and get themselves fucked. But I wouldn't assume that they won't try and adapt if it's necessary to their survival. But who knows, they are kinda fucktarded about these things. What? That isn't even remotely true. Lrn2nationalsoverignty, son. For instance, Hezbollah is considered a criminal organization in many Western nations. In Lebanon, they hold several seats in Parliament.

Re: Verdict: GUILTY! French trial verdicts are in yes, if the 4 people can be linked to any sort of illegal activity, and convicted, it violates their probation and they are forced to go to jail on their suspended sentence on top of the second charge. NOTE! since I am not a francefag, I don't know how the law is over there, this is just the US law
Re: Verdict: GUILTY! French trial verdicts are in Speaking of stuff. There were a lot more plaintiffs at first, but they all dropped off for various reasons. What are the odds any of them would be able to get a second trial going, assuming not all are bound by some french version of Double Jeopardy? I'm guessing we'll have to wait for new people to get defrauded, but it would be nice if they could get slammed again for stuff they've already done.
Re: Verdict: GUILTY! French trial verdicts are in all depends on the legalities. In the US, if a prosecutor dismisses before it calls its first witness, double jeopardy does not apply. The keyword to look for is "Dismissed with Prejudice." Meaning, double jeopardy applies.
