Now you speak of exes. Before you stated scientologists. Conditionally agree with you on exes, provided they have left the practice.
With or without religion $cientology, you would have good very nice people doing good very nice things and evil people doing evil things. But for good very nice people to do evil things, that takes religion $cientology.
It's all a matter of degrees and tempo. Those of us who left in the mass exodus of the 80's did so because the "1984" orders began to zoom in over our heads. Few knew anything about the evil atrocities behind the curtain, even then. It was and is, after all, a shell game, only on multiple level platforms. Most members run the moment they find out anything about the criminal and human rights violations, but leave quiet because, hey, it's a mafia. It IS a mafia. All the stories, reports, videos and testimonies, decade by decade, to me lay out a steady, massive other kind of exodus, leaving only the mentally challenged victims and perps, and that's all I see for at least the last 10 years. Those left now, dangerous crims or very ill. You can't judge all people who've tango'd with scientology the same. Some just danced with them.
I think a common emotion from scientologists who leave is fear of retaliation. In some, it is intense and chronic. In others, in is mild and temporary. Many recover. A few thrive. I can say that those who thrive come to comprehend the facts of scientology and fully accept who they did and what happened to them. Those who thrive do not live in fear.
heh. Yeah, that's it. Just an emotion. Would you say the same if we were talking about what most people think of as mafia? Would you say the same to Paulette Cooper, or BFG, or Sparrow, or , parents whose children are being mentally held hostage? Well, you get my drift. Just an emotion? Many have thrived, but still live in fear, not because of emotion, but because of intelligent analysis of the situation. Not quite sure your point here. But this is derailing from this thread. Tommy Davis has a rich stepfather and celebrity mother and the rules and laws all scientologists must live by do not apply to him. His wife is seriously ill and he gets to take time off to spend with her, unlike most scientology staff. They both have excellent medical care, unlike any scientology staff. Both Jessica and Tommy have family helping them in every way and both of them have ripped apart countless families with a cold and unattached "off with their heads" approach that defies comprehension. Jessica and Tommy probably see nothing wrong with that.
Jessica and Tommy should jump off the hospital roof together...after all, it's just their "meat bodies" They will come back in another form to SAVE THE EARTH, right? (just like all the SO's reading this...dumb dumb, you aren't coming back)
WAIT, if they come back to earth what happens if Lisa McPherson comes back and is Jessica's nurse????
I care about lots of stuff. That doesn't mean I won't kill it and eat it when I'm hungry. You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry...
I am not a retarded person posing as a cult member who is saving the world. If a desperate cult took all my money, told me about xenu and body thetans, then YES, I PROBABLY WOULD JUMP! You on the other hand just keep handing over your $ or working as a slave...I am sure that is very rewarding as you see a self conscious midget leader fly around in private jets and drinking top shelf liqa...
I did not state "just an emotion", you did. The folks you mention were victimised by the scientology crime syndicate (mafia). Those who leave may fear victimisation. I guess you and I disagree on what constitutes "intelligent analysis of the situation". For me, an intelligent analysis leaves me without fear. For you, it evidently does. Sorry you missed my point.
You're worse. BTW, how's it going in Tustin with your retarded antics littering the streets with paper?
You must be referring to the CULT AWARENESS PROJECT in Tustin AND Santa Ana at that dead mORGue? It's amazing what people think about your stupid little cult when they find the out the facts... Now go away, what are you doing on the internet anyway?
and that travolta and cruise suck each other off in the sauna as DM jerks off and watches from a CCTV.
I have witnessed municipal streets get littered with huge amounts of shredded paper quite often when another scientology Ideal Morgue opens, officiated by master of retarded antics David Miscavige.
Religion is for people who need to feel they have the answers to any and all questions. A variety of security blanket, if you will. If that could be gotten to, there wouldn't be a need for cults, in which I include all the major religions.
Wasn't that also what Commander "Snake" Thompson repeatedly shoved into young Lafayette Ronald Hubbard? inb4OTII LOL
This access to information is changing the way the brain works. Since we don't have to retain information (being able to retrieve almost all of it), we do other things with it (the brain) in terms of utilizing information. Speaking of the brain, "its my second favorite organ" (Woody Allen).
Since we're using less left-brain, as for data storage, perhaps we'll start using the the right more... ? One can always hope. "Sleeper"... stil one of the funniest films out there
"Are there any futuristic monters, like with the body of a crab and the head of a social worker?" (Purely from memory) and the ever useful: "I once tried to kill myself by inhaling next to an insurance salesman."
Seems to be going in that direction. And there will never be a lack of useful/less data to keep the left at capacity.
