Tom Cruise Scientology Video - ( Original UNCUT )

Ten years ago, all hell broke loose for Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology

By Tony Ortega, January 13, 2018

Ten years ago tomorrow, a nine-minute video of Tom Cruise was leaked to the Internet, and the Church of Scientology would never be the same.

It’s hard to believe so much time has passed since the infamous Cruise video showed up and then resulted in the Anonymous movement turning its sights on Scientology. For those of us who had already been watching Scientology for some time, it was really something to see Scientology have to deal with so many new critics, and all at the same time. Then, a few weeks later, Anonymous began its real-world protests at Scientology locations around the planet — well, let’s not get ahead of the story.

We’ve told the tale of the Cruise video several times, and we went into a lot of detail about it to mark the demise of Gawker. Here’s the meat of that chronology, to remind you of what an important event took place ten years ago. In many ways, Scientology watching has never recovered.

‘Top Gun 2’ Miracle! Tom Ends Val’s Cancer Horror With Bizarre Scientology Powers | Radar Online

Tom Cruise Cured Val Kilmer's Cancer With His Touch And Scientology Powers? | Gossip Cop

    By Shari Weiss

Did Tom Cruise really cure Val Kilmer’s cancer with his touch and Scientology powers? That’s the premise of an outrageous report circulating this week. Gossip Cop investigated, and we can now bust the claim.

The wild allegation is being peddled by sister outlets RadarOnline and the National Enquirer, which are running virtually identical stories online and in print. Both publications allege Cruise “miraculously healed” Kilmer, who has battled throat cancer, during an encounter on the set of Top Gun 2. It’s claimed Cruise, one of Scientology’s most famous practitioners, “accomplished the incredible feat by using a flaky ‘laying-on-of-hands’ method available only to the cult’s top members.”

The same so-called “snitch” is quoted by both outlets, and contends Cruise “insists he can cure illnesses and injuries with his touch.” This supposed source goes on to allege he “couldn’t wait to use his hands-on approach on Val.” So, what did this procedure allegedly entail? It’s asserted Cruise “used the ‘touch assist’ method by touching Val and instructing him to ‘feel my finger,’” and then “ended the bizarre session by saying, ‘End of assist.’” Maintains the purported tipster, “And poof! Val started to feel a whole lot better.”

Now Kilmer is supposedly calling Cruise a “miracle worker.” Of course, he’s never publicly uttered such a statement. And the timing of these allegations don’t make much sense. Kilmer has only opened up about his cancer battle in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last December. He said he underwent chemotherapy, and relied upon his Christian Scientist faith (which is different from Scientology) to help him emotionally. He didn’t say anything about Cruise using a “magic touch” or “spiritual powers.” In fact, his co-star wasn’t even mentioned at all.

The Top Gun sequel didn’t start production until late last month, and it wasn’t until June 6 that it was revealed Kilmer is back for Top Gun 2. It’s unlikely the actor would’ve been able to sign on to the film if he wasn’t already medically cleared and deemed healthy enough to participate in the shoot. That would’ve happened before he and Cruise crossed paths on set. And while there have been conspiracies for centuries about what’s known as the “royal touch,” as well as about religious-based “faith healing,” there is no scientific proof that either method actually works.

With all this in mind, it’s difficult to believe any of the contentions. And since there is no proof to substantiate them except for an unnamed and untraceable “snitch,” there is no reason to view these reports credibly. Gossip Cop also reached out to Kilmer and Cruise’s reps, but did not hear back. Lastly, Gossip Cop has also reached out to spokespeople at the Church of Scientology.

Scientology and celebs: ‘Miscavige had several of us catering to Tom Cruise behind the scenes’

By Tony Ortega, The Underground Bunker, June 23, 2018

We have another entry in our ongoing series of book excerpts about Scientology, this time some startling material about the church’s obsession with celebrities which appears in Amy Scobee’s book Scientology — Abuse at the Top. Amy was one of several high-ranking executives who came out of Scientology in the 2000s and changed the way the church is viewed by the media.

The Watchdog Committee (WDC) position over the Celebrity Centre sector was unfilled and the handling of “key” Scientology celebrities was being done directly by the Religious Technology Center, under David Miscavige’s supervision. Therefore, the post of WDC for Celebrity Centres (WDC CC) became my next top priority post to fill.

While working to locate someone suitable, I was briefed that I’d be doing a special project in Los Angeles to establish the Tom Cruise household with staff who were all Scientologists. Without telling these people who we were hiring for, I was to call in and video interview upscale Scientologists in the LA area for specific positions. This included locating an executive housekeeper, cook, cleaner, and nanny. Shelly Miscavige (David’s wife and personal assistant) supervised me directly on this project.

After several days of interviewing, I narrowed down the prospective people for these positions and compiled submissions to Shelly with the basic information and video for review. Those finally approved were hired by Tom’s assistant, Andrea.

Andrea came to me one day at Celebrity Centre International and said that the nanny I proposed did have great credentials, however they wanted someone “much younger and more hip.” I didn’t find someone who fit the bill as part of my project, so I’m not sure who Tom and Nicole ended up with as their nanny at the time.

During my project, Tommy Davis (then President CC Int’s Assistant) and I went to Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s residence in Pacific Palisades while they were not at home. We met with another Sea Org member named Jenny, who normally worked in the L. Ron Hubbard Household Unit. The Household Unit personnel were LRH’s staff that took care of his personal needs (cooking, laundry, cleaning) and after LRH passed away, they became responsible for maintaining LRH’s personal possessions and spaces located at the Int base.

Jenny showed me around Tom and Nicole’s house and briefed me on all of the functions she was personally performing for them, which would need to be turned over to the new staff I was hiring. Prior to this meeting, I had no idea that one of LRH’s personal staff members was being used to service Tom Cruise.

Jenny showed me the in-house theater and described how two highly trained Audio-Visual personnel (also from the LRH Household Unit) had put many, many hours into the A/V set-up to make it perfect.

I thought I was one of the only Sea Org members off my own job to work for Tom Cruise, which was unusual enough. Come to find out, David Miscavige had several of us catering to Tom, behind the scenes.

Why Is No One Talking About Tom Cruise and Scientology?

It’s heartening to see glowing reviews for the new ‘Mission: Impossible.’ We love great action movies. But the media should stop ignoring Cruise’s leadership role in Scientology.

By Kevin Fallon, The Daily Beast, July 26, 2018

Listen, a person of Cruise’s stature and with such controversial baggage is never going to embark on a press tour that consists of anything but puff pieces and softball interviews adhering to warnings about forbidden questions and topics (chiefly: Scientology!). But that doesn’t make its erasure any less aggravating, the media complicity in fostering an inaccurate image of an influential member of a reportedly oppressive organization any less irresponsible, and our collective willingness to accept all of this in the name of enjoying a badass movie any less damning.

Tom Cruise wants to freeze his body so he can live forever | New Idea Magazine

“It’s possible he’s making preparations for the worst case scenario"

Tom Cruise has hatched a mission impossible plan to live forever, according to new reports.

The National Enquirer claims that the Church of Scientology is storing frozen corpses in an underground bunker in a hidden town – and it’s all because the Top Gun star wants to become immortal.

‘I’ve been told it’s a storage facility for the freezing arm of Scientology,” a source in rural Twin Peaks told the tabloid.

“It’s where they keep canisters with preserved corpses in underground vaults. It’s been talked about for years and it’s very disturbing.”

Furthermore, former church member Steven Mango confirmed to the publication that the controversial religion has been exploring cryonics.

“Scientology mid level confidential documents do contain data about freezing people – or at least their ‘spirits.’”

And according to Steven, high-ranking church member Cruise would no doubt support the creepy experiment.

The actor “is basically second in command to [leader] David Miscavige.

“If Miscavige did move into cryonics, I believe Tom Cruise would be supportive,” he stated.

Furthermore, another insider claims that Tom’s scary accident on the set of Mission: Impossible Fallout last year, in which he broke his ankle performing a daredevil stunt, has scared the star into taking drastic action.

“It’s possible he’s making preparations for the worst case scenario – to freeze his body and come back to life.”

Box Office Bomb! Scientology Throws Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun’ Sequel Into ‘Jeopardy’
The cult devotee ‘now wants to rip everything up.’

By Radar Staff, July 30, 2018

Quote: has exclusively learned Tom Cruise is doing his best not to film his upcoming Top Gun sequel in California, because he wants the movie relocated to his beloved Scientology mecca of Clearwater, Florida!

“Tom can’t bear to be away from his headquarters these days,” an insider told Radar. “He has a really hard time in L.A. and didn’t enjoy his most recent experience filming on the West Coast.”

“It’s thrown the project into jeopardy though, because plans were already in place for specific locations and now he wants to rip everything up and go back to Florida,” continued the source.

“That’s where his office is and that’s where he wants to conduct his business going forward.”

As Radar reported, Cruise recently moved into a secret sanctuary within spitting distance of Scientology’s Clearwater headquarters.

Now Cruise “wants to continue to bring big films into the area and help get the local production business on its feet, the way he has helped to in London.”

Mission Impossible? Tom Cruise Desperate To Save Son From Bad New Habit
But Connor Cruise insists ‘he should be left alone.’

    By Radar Staff

Tom Cruise is on a “Mission: Impossible” to get son Connor to quit his bad new vaping habit — or face a stint in Scientology detox!

Sources said 23-year-old Connor has embraced the tobacco alternative, regularly sucking on electronic cigarettes that boil liquid chemicals and inhaling the resulting vapor.

In an exclusive photo taken on July 23, caught Tom’s adopted son at a seedy vaping den before he took a break for pizza and returned to chase the vaping dragon.

“Tom thinks addiction in any form is weak,” an insider said. “He is encouraging Connor to make the most of Narconon to help him with his behavior.”

Although praised by Tom, Scientology’s Narconon has been denounced as quackery by mainstream medicine as it advocates cleansing a person’s body and spirit via grueling hours-long sauna sessions, high-dose “vitamin bombs” and guzzling vegetable oil.

Ex-member Steven Mango once told Radar: “I almost died on the program … It’s not safe!”

But Scientologist Kirstie Alley credits Narconon with helping her kick cocaine.

However, the source snitched: “Connor argues that loads of Scientologists smoke — so he should be left alone.”

    • It is just a 10-minute walk from the Flag Service Organization, known as the Church's 'spiritual headquarters' and is even closer to Tom's new penthouse which is still under construction

Connor Cruise is following in the footsteps of his father Tom and becoming increasingly ensconced in Scientology, can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old has moved out of the apartment he shared with friends on the outskirts of Clearwater, Florida, and is now living at the plush Sandcastle compound owned by the Church, which is described as a 'religious retreat'.

It's the latest sign that the actor's only son is preparing to take on a bigger role within the controversial religion that was created by L. Ron Hubbard and now led by David Miscavige.

Built in 1979, the resort-style complex was recently updated to include 62 residential rooms and 84 'auditing' rooms – where Scientologists notoriously undergo personal questioning to pinpoint 'areas of spiritual distress'.

‘Extremely Vain’ Tom Cruise Demanded Hotel Staff ‘Walk Into His Room Backwards’

The diva actor refused to let anyone see him ill or in pain.

    By Aaron Tinney, RadarOnline

An insider exclusively revealed to that Tom Cruise ordered staff to “walk into his room backwards” when he was laid up with a broken ankle!

The pint-sized star gave staff at the luxury Corinthia Hotel London a massive headache with his diva demand, which he made because he couldn’t stand people seeing proof Scientology’s “healing power” is a fairytale, claimed a source.

As Radar reported, Cruise, who turned 56 in July, was left unable to walk while staying at the five-star property after he suffered a string of injuries filming the latest Mission Impossible — including a broken ankle that is still causing him pain.

But since the actor is convinced his beloved Scientology cult has a miraculous healing power, he refused to allow the Corinthia’s team of butlers, cleaners and chefs to see him temporarily crippled.

“Everyone knows Tom is out there when it comes to his beliefs, especially in Scientology,” the source said.

But ordering people to walk backwards because he didn’t want them to see evidence that Scientologists’ claims of possessing miraculous power to cure injuries wasn’t up to snuff “is his craziest move yet,” noted the source. “He really annoyed staff at Claridge’s, and not only because asking someone not to look you in the eye is an insult.”

“It made everyone’s lives hard as they had to open doors with their backs while carrying trays stacked with the health foods Tom makes them order in, and it was a nightmare for cleaners,” explained the source.

“They felt ridiculous and nicknamed Tom ‘Fawlty Towers’ during his stay, after the TV show starring John Cleese, who is famous for his Monty Python ‘silly walks’ sketch — and because they joke his head’s faulty.”

The insider added Cruise’s demand was also a result of the “extremely vain” actor’s dislike of people seeing him when he is ill and not in top physical condition.

Cruise’s ankle took weeks to heal even though he splashed millions of dollars bringing a medical entourage — including Scientology healers — to the Corinthia after his injury.

According to the insider, the Top Gun star usually takes an entire floor of at the luxury hotel when staying in London for him and his team.

But he reserved almost two floors for his handpicked medical entourage after he shattered his ankle more than 12 months ago performing a stunt for his latest outing as spy Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible Fallout.

He also flew out a senior Scientology shaman trained in the cult’s ‘Assist’ procedures, which purportedly heal injuries and even bring the dead back to life.

“Tom was ashamed that even with that lot treating him, he still wasn’t up and about,” the source said. “He genuinely thinks Scientology can work miracles.”

    Dumb Shit
Report: You May Only Enter Tom Cruise's Hotel Room Backwards

    By Bobby Finger, Jezebel

Here’s a fun and utterly ridiculous (aka perfect for a Friday) year-old rumor about the star of the season’s greatest film. Per a report by Radar Online, a source that is admittedly questionable but far from a purveyor of exclusively fiction, Tom Cruise requested that all staff members of the Corinthia Hotel in London walk into his room “backwards” while he was recovering from an injury sustained while filming Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

A source tells Radar Online that Cruise was embarrassed by his injury due to a frightful combination of vanity and his belief that Scientology “has a miraculous healing power.” They continued:

“He really annoyed staff at Claridge’s... It made everyone’s lives hard as they had to open doors with their backs while carrying trays stacked with the health foods Tom makes them order in, and it was a nightmare for cleaners... They felt ridiculous and nicknamed Tom ‘Fawlty Towers’ during his stay, after the TV show starring John Cleese, who is famous for his Monty Python ‘silly walks’ sketch — and because they joke his head’s faulty.”

Just for fun, I searched through a copy of Dianetics I found on for instances of the word “backwards.” Its single use doesn’t necessarily provide helpful context here, but is nice at pointing out how wholly bonkers Scientology is:

By use of dreams and restimulation of somatics the preclear was able to reach the beginning of the engramic chain as counted backwards from birth. Fifteen prenatal experiences were unstacked. They were found lying in two loops. The loops were corrected and the basic engram of the basic chain was reached. (A loop is a redoubling of the time track back on itself. In this case incidents are not in their correct place on the time track. )

Whatever you say, L. Ron! Anyway, here’s a video of Tom Cruise running backwards for 30 seconds. Happy Friday! If you walked backwards for him or any other injured Scientologist, send me an email (written backwards) at!

Tom Cruise Recruiting Barbra Streisand For Scientology? | Gossip Cop

Tom Cruise is not trying to recruit Barbara Streisand to join Scientology, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. We’ve learned it’s fabricated.

According to the Globe, the legendary singer is Cruise’s “idol” and he’s been “obsessed” with her for years, even to the point of “crushing on her.” An alleged insider tells the magazine, “Tom is captivated by her class and style. He thinks the world of her. He cranks up the volume when he plays her albums and says she has the voice of an angel.”

The questionable source further contends that Cruise also wants to co-star in a movie with Streisand, adding, “He doesn’t see why she wouldn’t want to work with him – they’ve supported the same causes and mingle in the same social circles.” The supposed tipster adds, “Naturally, he says she would be the best thing for Scientology ever.”

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to Streisand, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that the tabloid’s story is “false.” We’re assured that Cruise has never tried to recruit the singer for his religion. The additional claim about the movie star being desperate to work with Streisand is also fabricated. It doesn’t make much sense either, considering that Cruise primarily makes action movies. Streisand doesn’t exactly seem like the right fit for a Mission: Impossible film or the upcoming Top Gun sequel.

It should be noted, the tabloids have an ongoing narrative about Cruise trying to get various celebrities to become Scientologists. Back in 2016, the Globe’s sister publication, OK!, falsely claimed that the movie star was trying to recruit Margot Robbie for his religion. That article also had an additional angle about him looking to cast the actress in Top Gun 2. As time has shown, Robbie hasn’t become a Scientologist and she has no involvement in the Top Gun sequel.

Earlier this year, there was a similar report claiming Cruise once tried to audition Scarlett Johansson to become his girlfriend and join Scientology. The actress vehemently denied the story during an interview on “Megyn Kelly Today,” calling it both “demeaning” and “crazy.”

Fears for Nicole Kidman's son Connor Cruise reportedly in Scientology compound

Nicole Kidman is reportedly looking to ‘rescue’ her son Connor Cruise, who is being targeted by Scientology bosses.

Connor Cruise is said to be in lockdown in a Scientology compound in Florida, having been moved into the luxury Sandcastle Hotel in a bid to get him to follow in his dad Tom Cruise’s footsteps, according to New Idea.

“He is going to be the golden boy of Scientology,” ex-scientologist Katrina Reyes, whose mother is the manager of Sandcastle among other properties, told the publication.

Katrina claims Connor is being subjected to courses and auditing plus a strict regime of vitamins and juice. He would also reportedly have bodyguards and security to control his moves 24/7.

A close friend of Nicole says the mum, who lives in Nashville, is ‘tearing her hair out’.

“She is incredibly concerned Connor is being punished for his wild partying and committing crimes in the church’s eyes,” the friend tells publication.

Connor split from model girlfriend Phylicia Bugna in November 2017, after she said she didn’t want to get ‘sucked in’ to Scientology. That relationship was deemed ‘unsuitable’ by church bosses.

It’s long been reported that after Nicole and Tom split in 2001, and the kids lived with him, that the Aussie actress was deemed a “suppressive person,” in Scientology terminology (the kids embraced the controversial religion like their dad), and there was no contact between them.

However Bella and Nicole appeared to have put any past differences aside when Bella named her new clothing line after her adoptive mother earlier this year.

Nicole would often give acceptance speeches and not mention Bella or Connor, while calling out her daughter’s to Keith Urban, Sunday and Faith.

But then when Nicole picked up a Critics’ Choice Movie Award in January she made a point to thank “all of my children, who show me so much love.”

It’s no surprise Nicole wouldn’t want Connor getting in any deeper with the controversial religion.

“She plans to do everything in her power to rescue him,” her friend tells New Idea.

Tom Cruise’s Son Being Groomed As Scientology ‘Golden Boy,’ Ex Member Claims

Connor, 23, forced to ditch partying for 'strict work,' Katrina Reyes tells Radar.

    By Radar Staff

Former scientologist, Katrina Reyes, exclusively spilled to that Connor Cruise, 23, is being punished by the higher ups of Scientology for committing serious church crimes!

Reyes told Radar that Connor has been living at the Church-owned hotel known as The Sandcastle, next door to the global headquarters in Clearwater, Florida, as punishment for exhibiting wild partying behavior.

According to Reyes, Connor is being forced to replace booze with long hours of Scientology coursework. The former scientologist’s mother, Yelena, is currently the manager of The Sandcastle and another hotel called The Osceola Inn, where Tom had a ritzy penthouse floor built to meet his high standards.

According to Reyes, Connor is being monitored by security guards around the clock. Reyes said it makes sense for Tom’s son to be protected by bodyguards, but the real reason they’re following him around is to “monitor” him and “control his every move.”

The church’s master plan is to mold Tom’s son into the “perfect scientologist,” Reyes claimed.

“He’s not having a normal life, that’s for sure,” said the former member. “They’ll have him on course and doing some auditing, he can’t go out and party and drink, and he’ll be on vitamins and juices.”

“The only reason I’ve ever seen it happen before with someone like Connor is that he did something he wasn’t supposed to do, like interacting with every day people, having ideas or regular thoughts of doing what he wants,” Reyes added.

The former church member said Connor is at a disadvantage given that his father is best friends with church head honcho David Miscavige.

The church plans to use Connor as a pawn, Reyes said.

“They need to make money and need people to join the Sea Org,” she continued. “So second and third generation members are getting the flak and were told they need to get their shit together.”

Meanwhile, just last month Tom’s bad boy was spotted vaping in public!

The church of Scientology declined to provide a comment for this story.

Nicole Kidman Married Tom Cruise for Love — and Got Protection

By Nicole Kidman as told to Holly Millea, New York Magazine, October 15, 2018

Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I’m always reluctant to talk about, because I’m married now to the man who is my great love [Keith Urban], and it almost feels disrespectful.

That said, I got married very young, but it definitely wasn’t power for me — it was protection. I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed. I would work, but I was still very much cocooned. So when I came out of it at 32, 33, it’s almost like I had to grow up.

Of course I’ve had #MeToo moments — since I was little! But do I want to expose them in an article? No. Do they come out in my work? Absolutely. I’m open and raw. I want to have my well of experience and emotion tapped into, used — and I’m not just talking about sexual harassment. I’m talking about loss, death, the full array of life. But it has to be by the right people so it’s not abused again. I’m making a movie with Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie about Roger Ailes. [Kidman is playing Gretchen Carlson.]

Nicole Kidman says Tom Cruise kept her 'from being sexually harassed' |

Kidman's refusal to immerse herself in the secretive religion of Scientology, as Cruise has done since the late 1980s, has often been cited as the reason for their split.

Neither Kidman nor Cruise has ever commented publicly about the role of the church in their split.

Nicole Kidman finally breaks silence on Connor and Bella Cruise | WHO Magazine

The actress is notoriously private about her two eldest children, who she shares with Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman is notoriously private about her two adopted children with Tom Cruise, Isabella Cruise, 25, and Connor Cruise, 23.

“I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”

Speaking candidly about her two eldest kids – who practise Scientology – Kidman says, "They are adults."

"They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them."

"And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here."

She continues, "I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family – I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love."

The Big Little Lies actress' stars in her latest film, Boy Erased, is a coming-of-age drama based on Garrard Conley’s 2016 memoir of the same name.

The movie follows the son of Baptist parents who is forced to take part in a gay conversion therapy program.

She plays Nancy Eamons conservative mother raising a gay son (played by Lucas Hedges).

Tom Cruise 'set up booth to convert film cast and crew to Scientology' | Mirror Online

His agent said the superstar ignored warnings to keep quiet about his controversial faith

Tom Cruise is so devoted to Scientology he set a booth up on set to try to convert the cast and crew on one of his films, according to a top Hollywood agent.

Michael Ovitz, who used to represent the 56-year-old, said he ignored warnings to keep quiet about his controversial faith.

He says in his memoirs: “We advised our clients to keep their heads low and mouths shut. In those days, Tom Cruise’s profile as a Scientologist was minimal because we’d told him, ‘Keep your religion and your work separate’.

“I read Dianetics, by Scientology’s founder, L Ron Hubbard, to better understand what we were up against and went to see David Miscavige, Hubbard’s successor, and explained we had a common interest: ‘We don’t want to see Tom’s name in the paper for anything but his career'.

“Spielberg told me that on the set of their 2005 film War of the Worlds Tom set up a Scientology booth to proselytise.”

Cruise has campaigned for Scientology to be recognised as a religion in Europe. In 2013, he claimed ex-wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce because she did not want their daughter Suri involved with it.

This week Nicole Kidman gave a rare interview about her eldest children from her first marriage to Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman Moving To London To Save Daughter From Scientology? | Gossip Cop

One of this week’s tabloids claims Nicole Kidman is moving to London to save her daughter Bella Cruise from Scientology. The story is completely fabricated. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk it.

A headline in the latest issue of the National Enquirer reads, “Nicole Battling Scientology For Daughter’s Soul!” Kidman’s 25-year-old adopted daughter with Tom Cruise is a member of the church, and according to the magazine, the actress is desperate to “save her daughter from what she believes is a full-on cult.” An alleged insider tells the outlet that Kidman is shopping for homes in London nearby where Bella lives with her husband, “so she can reconnect with her daughter.”

The magazine’s story is based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly nonexistent “source,” but Gossip Cop checked in with Kidman’s rep, who tells us on the record that it’s untrue. The tabloid’s article is also poorly timed. Earlier this week, Kidman spoke about Bella and her adopted son Connor, who’s also a Scientologist, and noted that she supports their choices in life.

Leah Remini: Tom Cruise Personally Punished Fellow Scientologists

The Scientology whistleblower opened up about Tom Cruise’s ‘deity’ status within the Church of Scientology — and his complicity in its alleged abuses.

By Marlow Stern, The Daily Beast

In the acclaimed documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, a number of accusations were made against Tom Cruise, the Church of Scientology’s most famous member.

According to Marty Rathbun, a high-ranking Scientologist and sometime enforcer, “I was to facilitate the breakup with Nicole Kidman.” In the film, Rathbun alleged the church took a number of measures to convince Cruise to cut ties with his then-wife, a non-believer, including wiretapping her phone, “auditing” Cruise day and night, and “re-educating” their adopted children so they would turn against Kidman. Cruise ultimately split from Kidman in 2001, and was awarded the church’s highest honor, the Freedom Medal of Valor, in 2004.

Cruise is also best friends with Scientology’s controversial leader David Miscavige, who served as Cruise’s best man during his 2006 wedding to Katie Holmes.

“They’re two peas in a pod,” Tom De Vocht, a former member of Scientology’s Commodore Messenger’s Organization (CMO), or its internal police, told me of Cruise and Miscavige. “They’re very similar characters — both rather absorbed by themselves, and intensely so. You don’t want to look at ’em wrong, say anything wrong, and you definitely don’t want to better them in any way. You had to be very careful around them.”

Cruise’s representative did not respond to multiple requests for comment; the Church of Scientology, as is its wont, sent a rambling screed calling the allegations “absurd,” claiming church members were the real victims, and encouraging me to tune in to their burgeoning cable TV network.

Despite his high-ranking Scientology status, including a wacky indoctrination video featuring the actor that went viral, Cruise’s Hollywood star still shines bright, with his most recent blockbuster movie, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, raking in nearly $800 million worldwide.

And the public’s continued embrace of Cruise is troubling to many of the church’s former members, who have alleged abuse and harassment at the hands of the so-called cult — including actress Leah Remini.

“Scientologists are told that Tom Cruise is saving the world single-handedly, so he is considered a deity within Scientology. He is second to David Miscavige — the savior of the free world. Tom is even called ‘Mister Cruise’ by staff members,” Remini told The Daily Beast.

Remini left the church in 2013, and has since served as a Scientology whistleblower, publishing the bestselling memoir Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, and serving as the host and executive producer of the Emmy-winning A&E series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which highlights horror stories by ex-Scientologists. The show returns for its third season Nov. 27.

The King of Queens star alleges Scientology officials do everything they can to ensure that their most prized member doesn’t so much as see anything critical of the religion that’s based on the writings of sci-fi author L. Ron Hubbard.

“Scientology goes to great lengths to not allow Tom to see anything disparaging about Scientology,” says Remini. “They’ll go so far as, if he’s going to walk a certain place, they’ll make sure there are no magazines that are anti-Scientology, so he can’t see that.”

And there are many Scientologists who’ve been conditioned by the church to not read or listen to anything critical of it.

“I think people think [Cruise is] an innocent victim in all of this. Most Scientologists are, and I can actually say this about most Scientologists because I was in it, so I know my own heart,” Remini explains. “They told me not to look at certain things, and the quote that they used would be ‘don’t forward an enemy line,’ which means you reading a magazine, or a book, or watching Going Clear is forwarding an ‘enemy line.’ There are even Facebook posts from Scientologists saying, ‘Don’t forward an enemy line. Don’t click on anything.’ So I know that Scientologists willfully don’t look at these things because the church is telling them that these are ‘enemy lines,’ and you don’t want to look at anything apostates have to say.”

“Where Tom is concerned, that is very different,” she adds. “He is very aware of the abuses that go on in Scientology. He’s been part of it.”

As Remini tells it, Cruise’s close friendship with Miscavige has afforded him certain knowledge of Scientology’s internal operations that other members do not possess — including their penchant for corporal punishment, which many ex-members, including De Vocht, have attested to.

“He’s best friends with David Miscavige, so he’s privy to the punishments that David Miscavige doles out, and I’ve been told by a senior executive of Scientology, who was there, that David Miscavige constantly threatened the staff at Gold Base with bringing Tom Cruise to Gold Base to kick their fucking asses,” claims Remini.

She also alleges a Scientology official informed her that Cruise personally administered punishment on a high-ranking member of the church — on Miscavige’s orders.

“He is not in the same category as the average Scientologist,” she says.

Cher's tell-all memoir leaves former fling Tom Cruise fretting | Mirror Online

EXCLUSIVE: The Top Gun star is fretting over what the singer might reveal about their relationship in her new book

Cher hopes to swap the pop charts for the paperback bestseller lists. But I can reveal that one of her exes, Tom Cruise, is fretting over her upcoming memoirs, Honest.

Tom dated the Believe singer in the 80s, and she called him one of her top five lovers. But the Hollywood star has never spoken about their fling – and a source on the set of new film Top Gun 2 says he wasn’t very pleased when he heard about the tell-all memoir. The film insider says: “Everyone knew he wasn’t happy – it seemed like a bit of a touchy subject.”

Speaking about the book, Cher says: “I just made the deal, but I have no time frame. It’s going to take me a while because I have a lot to tell.

“It’s going to be more difficult than doing the play. I will grit my teeth through the whole thing because I’ll have to be honest.”

Cher, 72, and Tom, 56, first met in 1985 at the wedding of Madonna, 60, and Sean Penn, 58. She says: “Then a bunch of people who were dyslexic were invited to the White House, and Tom and I are both dyslexic. “We didn’t go out till way later, but there definitely was a connection there.”

She later said she couldn’t get her head around his scientology beliefs. Last night Tom was unavailable for comment.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Plan Sit Down With Tom Cruise Before Announcing Engagement | Radar Online

Holmes & Cruise's ex-best friend Foxx plan to come head-to-head with the actor.

    By Radar Staff

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are planning for a clear-the-air sitdown with Tom Cruise, has learned exclusively, before officially announcing their engagement.

“This has been the elephant in the room for so long, and they figure it’s time to finally address it head-on,” an insider told Radar. “That means sitting down with Tom face to face, explaining how they fell in love and assuring him there was never any crossover when he and Katie were married.”

As Radar readers know, rumors that Holmes might be dating Cruise’s ex best friend Foxx started swirling in 2013, just a year after the Dawson’s Creek star divorced the Mission Impossible hunk.

But Holmes refused to confirm the relationship at first, because of a secret divorce deal with Cruise. A source claimed that Holmes allegedly signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevented her from embarrassing Cruise in various ways, like “talking about him or Scientology or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” the source claimed.

Now that the five-year window has passed, Holmes and Foxx have been a lot more open with their feelings and have started talking about taking the next step. Foxx is even expected to adopt daughter Suri after the ceremony, something sources say the 12-year-old wants to happen.

“They’ll need to address the Suri situation, too, because Jamie will be living with her and being a full-time stepdad,” the insider added.

As Radar has reported, Cruise hasn’t been a full-time part of Suri’s life since 2013. But it seems the Top Gun star is ready to accept the fact that his ex-wife has moved on.

“It’s incredibly delicate and sure to be tense, but Tom seems open to making it happen and he’s mellowed a lot about the Katie and Jamie situation,” the source said.

As Radar reported, Holmes and Cruise have had near run-ins in recent days. While the actor was visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida this weekend with friends, the mom relaxed with Foxx in nearby Miami.
