As delighted as I am at this news--and grateful to Nick Xenophon, Brian Seymour and all of the others who made it happen--I can only imagine what it must mean to an ex. The world is sometimes fair and just, and we cherish those moments.

Okay, it was my sign, not me. Actually not my sign, but the one that guy from San Jose left us.

We'll see if it goes through the Senate, though I expect it will, at least the "Charity commission" bit, if not the "Cultwatch" suggestion. Then it will be real political change.

I am fairly certain someone is shitting bricks as we type.

This is incredible good news. Congradulations Paul, Tiny, and all the rest of the Anons who contributed to this Epic Win. The timing of this is perfect.

An incredible editing and proof reader, Anon Genius, returned my eight page report "Copy" around midnight last night. It will be forwarded to several Government and investigative Authorities this week.

A copy of this Australia Senate Report and this video will now be included in my my more than fifty supporting documents and be distrubuted. This exposes and tells a very credible and convincing story.

WOW! This is overwhelming news indeed. Bravo Australia!

    :)

On top of this epic win, not directly scilon related but CCHR is all ragefaced that the US Federal Circuit Court of Appeals just supported the scientific findings that vaccinations do not cause autism and may have put an big nail in the coffin of the the whole "vaccines cause autism" movement. The CCHR has held this dear and

So the scilons have even more to be bawwfaced about tonight. They still have a front group in Australia opposing it but I have a feeling it will fall afoul of the new aussie investigation and the media before long.

Now all we have to do is convince the new government in Oz that actually implementing these recommendations would be a good thing for them to do.

    indeed.

What the general citizen has to see is numbers. IMO
Hate to sound all COS by asking for actual statistics.
But I think it would really hit home if AU tax payers could see just how much property COS owns and how much money they could be paying if they were not granted charitable status. At a time when things are really tough, I think pointing this out to the public will really work in our favor.

I think it needs to be short and sweet.
Scientology owns X amount of property in AU
And they can be paying X amount of dollars.
Point out how much of a burden this is on PAYING tax payers.
Some nice shiny fliers would be great.

Knowing the excitement, happiness, vindication and whatever else you are feeling right now makes any contributions (of whatever size big or small) we make all worth it. At least to me.

Tiny fists of fury are beating up senior staff as we speak.

Re: Today Tonight report on Senate Inquiry release (7/9/2010)

EXCELLENT POINT! "But I think it would really hit home if AU & USA tax payers could see just how much property COS owns and how much money they..." ESPECIALLY in this economy!!
I do not see a list on WWP Wiki dedicated to Co$ real estate holdings & what would be even cooler if we could provide the amount of taxes or estimated taxes the cult would have to pay if they weren't tax exempt!
This info may be provided on another site I don't know.
But I have noticed a lot info on WWP re: all the buildings they own but I do not have a clue how Anons come up with it.
However, if this was to turn in to a project I would be glad to help!
