Hello, fellow readers... Let me pick your brain... Yea?.. If no, this is probably not a post you want to waste your time in... Out of curiosity, from an advocate to other fellow activist and advocates, however you may identify yourself as, What Do YOU see may be wrong in the U.S. Government, and even in the nation itself?.. Please try to elaborate and express yourself freely... Any DOX is more than welcome, but is not necessary, for I am asking for honest Opinions... If there is a weed to root, we must attack it with optimism, and intelligence... If a rose it be, we must flourish it with diligence...
The current government is not a democracy, it's a republic or maybe an oligarchy. The Bill of Rights is in conflict with a Republic. Democracy is being one person equal to any other person, so the Bill of Rights supports that. But In a republic stuff like the right to bear arms, right to lawful assembly and freedom of religion is set aside because the group of people who are the governors are assumed to be smarter than the rest of us. Therefore they will make good decisions and we should stand out of their way. So we are in an uncomfortable position - giving lip service to a government we don't have any more and pretending we are not doing things we are...anywhoo. Togas anyone?

Not only is the US an oligarchy, but it's a borderline theocracy. "In God we trust..." "One nation, under God..." A lot of people try to write these off as "God" acting as a stand-in for any religious figure, but there's no way that's true. Plenty of religions don't call their figures God, many even believe that there are multiple deities. And yet, so many people - citizens and political leaders alike - try to justify laws using the bible. Hell, we even swear by the bible in court. "Right to religious freedom" my ass.
It's odd given how much effort we put into insisting radical islamists want to shove their religion into our government.

I have no bloody idea about what this thread is about, seriously, was there even a point? If so, then I missed, my bad *hangs head* Really all over, and for what, wait.. let me back up a bit and find something worthy of ridicule, nah, most of us canuckle-heads think ya'll pretty fucked down there, trouble is, yer gonna drag the rest of the world (which has, believe it or not, been trying to get along or make things better) into a mess of contentions which could potentially result in all of the world suffering even more that it already is. fuck. & gah.
Its odd that you don't just go to a forum that is discussing this topic and go chat with them there, near nobody here cares to debate you on such shit, there are already millions of places to do that elsewhere. Granted, members often explain, tell, their points of views, and discussions may consider many aspects, but ffs, if you're just talking crazy to yourself, um, its boring and painful. If you want people to see something you're all hopped up about, simply post a link in a dedicated thread with a simple explanation of why you think it is important, opinions will get back to you...and take it from there. You'll haz ta join to do that, other-wise, in our eyes, you just trollin' imho. Simply my simple-minded opine du-jour. Byeeeeeeeeeeee!
