"The Edge" has never been done for profit. And Tom Smith does not get paid a cent for these shows. There is no advertizing. He puts them on at his own expense.

Although most of his shows have nothing to do with scientology, he has had many really good shows exposing fraud and abuse within scientology for some years now and with some amazing guests.

Once the show is aired Friday, I'll tell why it does not announce who is on it some times (in the event it is not obvious).

Bill Franks: In December 1980, I was appointed by L. Ron Hubbard to be “Executive Director International” of all Churches of Scientology throughout the world. I saw an order written by L. Ron Hubbard himself appointing me to this position. The last Executive Director International was L. Ron Hubbard himself, who allegedly resigned from that position in 1966. Therefore, by virtue of this appointment, which was a lifetime appointment, I was senior to every Scientology executive throughout the world. Theoretically, since I held the post of Executive Director International, no person, even L. Ron Hubbard, could countermand my orders. However, as I learned shortly after my appointment, this was not how Hubbard intended me to operate.

    moar at linkage.

12 year old Canadian male named Lonnie had the first introspection rundown. Put in the chain locker to soften him up on Hubbard's orders. He went crazy after the rundown. I wonder where he is today.
