Yay KKS, was wondering when a doggy thread would rear its head.

Somethin' about faces only mothers can love... *shrugz*

Which reminds me~ Q- What's the difference between a poodle humping your leg or a pit-bull humping your leg?

A- Most let the pit-bull finish.

Hahahahah, wish I was drunk fuul, go ahead and report it, I happen to have owned dogs uglier than that 'cause nobody cared, so go DIAF, I think he's a charming little beast.

Now go to your corner and lick your nuts like a good dog.

How many people are killed by cats?

    (Tigers and lions don't count).

Also there have been MANY cats who kill babies and toddlers and a few really old and infirm people.
They smother them by laying on their faces:eek:

Well ok, infectious diseases. That's not the same as killing on purpose though.

Nope, that's an old wives tale.

ohh no sir. It is true.

What is the myth is people who say cats will steal your breath. Cats have killed many babies.
Cats have ZERO business being in a baby's room and I am a huge cat advocate. The cat goes to snuggle with the sleeping baby and the baby isn't strong enough to flip over or move the cat, which most likely weighs more then the infant.

One of those articles is from 1894. :) I'm willing to admit that cat-smothering might happen once per century. Accidentally.

But this is the dog thread, and we're getting off topic.

Dogs are vicious, dirty, stupid (except for guide dogs and sheepdogs) bastards who regularly kill small children intentionally.

They should all (except for guide dogs and sheepdogs) be put down. They're a dirty, dangerous menace.

If your serious about this ~ your not being fair at all. You are picking large dogs. Due to the sheer size factor cats can't kill people. They are only 6 pounds.
There are plenty of super aggressive cats out there who don't kill humans only because of the size difference.

I have a cat that is insane. He was a feral who someone tried to tame the wrong way. I was asked to see if I could work with him and tame him as being half tame is worse then being feral. At the time he had bitten 2 different ladies. One was a finger bite to the bone. He was only 6 months old and HE HATED humans.
It took me a year but he is now tame. There was a lot of blood sweat and tears in his training. Due to how close I had to work with him and how much a huge part of myself I had to give him I ended up adopting and keeping him. He is still very insane and a bit feral and hates strangers. I have never had a cat adore me more then this beast though. I can't trust him when company comes over. I am very careful to let everyone know his is a "hands off" policy. It is odd as all of my pets are outgoing, well socialized and trained ... except him. In my pet photo on the other thread he is the big grey tabby sitting on the couch. He was also the fat boy who got stuck in the box.

i work with both cats and dogs and I love both dearly... however cats are way more aggressive on the whole. Humans would be extinct if cats were the size of large dogs.
cats are pure predators while dogs are opportunistic animals. This does not make one better then the other, just very different.

It is true many dogs are broken. They are beaten down, abused, neglected and so fearful of humans there is no other word than broken.
But for every broken dog you post an article about who has had enough and struck out at humans there are 1,000s of dogs that never make the paper who have been broken down to nothing. Here is a good video of this. Rather than blame the dog we must blame ourselves. Pet ownership laws need to be harsher. Companion animals should have stricter laws protecting them. The stronger and stricter human laws are on pet ownership the less people who will be hurt.
