Re: Strange Doin's @ Gold Base The way I figure it is that they use their own labour to do anything and that their labourers are meant to be able to do anything. They are certainly not beyond doing a spot of landscaping and have been seen doing as such before. Hence I really do think that they used day labourers instead not to reduce costs, those guys charge around $5 - $6 an hour IIRC, but instead so they didn't have to have their labourers out of the fence where they could a) escape or b) be subjected to enturbulation or both. This is of course speculation backed up with my customary 95% accuracy guarantee. ;-)

Perhaps because it would be 'out-pr' to use RPF and then have "ethics-officers" with shotguns watching them so they do not escape.. that might cause people to ask even more questions.... and the staff inside did hear (twice in two months) some guy shouting through a HUGE paper megaphone For help escaping call 1-866-EX-SEAORG

Re: Strange Doin's @ Gold Base There are two young men in dark clothes with unmarked orange fluorescent vests, across from Golden Era Studio. Were these workers from Riverside County? Naw. They are scrubbing the wrought iron fence with small brushes. (not toothbrushes.) Thought they were newer fences, didn't need repainting yet. Maybe they were just washing them. Tediously, in lower conditions. Another lady, a long blonde-haired sea orger in uniform was by the stone bridge, past the studio. She was doing something, with some paraphenalia. A red gas is atop the bridge and other tools. This is no way to blow.....She may be assigned to yardwork or something. She has been seen before, when all the landscaping trucks were present. Not now. No overtime apparently?
