re: The Gary Morehead section of "from scientology files" link

If he was so free to go why did he have to write up and sign an 11 page affidavit saying so before he left? That's frightening.

edit: ugh then the next section down the church itself says two people left "without permission" lies contradictions and mistruths: scientology works and it helps people

Your handling of Moxon's behavior caught on video today and your good
example of how to talk to snakes like him was full of win.

That should be added to the list

Now that's more like it... So anecdotes are just a part of this... illustrative of a larger story being told

    That page disgusts me.

    The cult disgusts me.

Tommy Davis and David Miscavige turn my stomach.

And they have the gall to question Rinder showing a letter from his family to the SP Times.

That page is a great single-shot dismissal of the idea that Scientology treats the PC folders as in any way "sacred" or "confidential".

Damn the next few days are gonna be good.
How much of this is going in the print edition? I don't suppose we will get 3 front pages again?

The good side is that the more scientology tries to defend itself the worst it looks. Footbullet Machine. At some stage, there will not remain enough feet to host the new bullets.

Oh, this is lengthy detailed & good. The whole tracking down of people who try to escape & their moronic compliance. (Sorry Ex-Scis, I know you were brain buggered at the time. You did exactly what they conditioned you to do.)

OMG! Someone call the Las Vegas DA! Tommy Davis just threatened a terrorist attack on Scientology!

Thanks Tommy for reminding everyone about the dangers of cults. No self respecting paper would have printed those types of words except as a direct quote of your defense! <3 <3 <3

Thanks Tommy. You are our #1 SP!

    Re: SP Times Round Three

Scientologists regularly have "bookathons" to try and disseminate their books to the raw meat in the hope of making them them new recruits.

Methinks its time for an "inocuthon", innoculating raw meat against Scientology by dissemminating this information far and wide.

As soon as I get to work on Monday, I'll be running off a thousand new "truthrundown" cards to leave and insert wherever the opportunity arises.

    Re: SP Times Round Three

The more and more cagey they are about their 'super secret beliefs' (you know, Xenu and all that), the more they look to media, and the world at large, as a wierd cult.

Go into a Christian Church, the minister or priest will sit down with the Bible and tell you all about their beliefs.

Go into a Mosque, the imam will sit down with the Koran and tell you all about their beliefs.

Go into a Synagogue, the rabbi will sit down with the Torah and tell you all about their beliefs.

Scientology? You need to buy some books and do a course. Cheque, credit or cash sir?

    Re: SP Times Round Three

    Hang on, what's this?:

"How do you control someone? You threaten what is most valuable to them," Rinder said. "And the threat is, that's going away. And that's the mental prison that people are put in.''

...I know Rinder's lent his name to this stuff, and been a background source, but has he ever spoken this harshly for attribution before? Is he getting more vocal?

    Fraudian slip thar? :)

Watching Booster Seat freak out would be the best part of all this, if only we could has a hidden camera inside Gold Base.

Yep, that was some fine, fine vintage TD. Just the thing to accompany all this piping hot fresh testimony.

Dunno, but he's definitely getting squirrelly, because that's not how Hubbard said was the only way to control people.
