I just saw people are writing into the SP times comments sections saying all the vendor boxes with SP times are being emptied by scientologists. One guy actually witnessed them open a box, take all the papers and walk away with the whole stack.

Isn't that theft if they didn't pay for them all? Can we get the SP times to run a story about the theft of the papers next if it is indeed going on? Their paper carriers will probably notice boxes coming up short on a massive scale if they haven't already. Does anyone have a contact with the SP times to find out if this has been noticed by them yet?

but what a bunch of dumasses, SP times has a readership of over 700K, i dont think half a dozen here and half a dozen there are going to make a whole lot of difference.

It's clearly theft. Often the drivers that service those boxes are semi-independent contractors. When that is the case, they pay for each paper they supply at a slightly reduced rate, and generally aren't reimbursed for stolen papers. Stealing papers out of newspaper boxes on such a mass scale could be devastating to their income, which isn't a hell of a lot to begin with.

Theft of newspapers out of newspaper boxes can be proven via "the cash box ratio." Everyday the newspaper guys have to take the money out of the box.

For example if a newspaper cost a dollar a piece and there are 30 newspapers in the box... Then I should expect 30 dollars in coins (quarters mostly) in the box. If there is only one dollar in the box and all of the newspapers are gone by the next day... That's theft, plain and simple.

Yep, they didn't even deny or try to down play the actual content of the report on the musical chairs episode they simply said it was NORMAL! So what they have said is that it all happened and that this is normal behaviour within the cult!

Maybe BFG is on to something when he said that a tape of the event exists somewhere, perhaps outside David Miscavige's posession. Maybe Miscavige is trying to set it up so that when it surfaces his flunkies can turn and say:

Miscavige, your problem is that such semantics only work on the indoctrinated members of your cult. They don't work on normal people, normal people will see your treatment of your staff as decidedly abnormal abuse.

I agree entirely. This cult has survived worse, all the drama over McPherson, the Snow White court cases etc. It would not surprise me to see Rinder and Rathbun make a run for control over the cult.

The more I think about it the more I agree we the view we should put some pressure on them to admit more.

The "Kinder, gentler CoS, is a lie" and by demonising DM they figure they can oust him and take over then say everything is cosy now we're just going to be a nice religion, thanks to anonymous for protesting against David Miscavige and exposing his crimes and Anonymous will vaporise.

As someone who hasn't been in that situation, this might be something that is hard to understand, but i've heard it so many times now that it must be true
It seems to be what many of the ex's are going through.
Make sure you talk to other ex members about this.
