Sorry to derail my disgust and get back on topic, but I love the fact that no matter what the cult does in Larry's case, it's going to be bad for them. In the SP Times article, it says (re the Orientation film): "Anderson auditioned against dozens of actors, many of them non-Scientologists. Several church executives also read for the part. Maybe not. But there's enough in there to maybe (I hope) get the FBI looking. Even they should be able to pick up on the pattern of conditions almost invariably presented to the requester for what should be a straight up refund.

This situation is no different than walking into a bank to withdraw money from your account and being told you have to sign a release to never say anything bad about the bank, and by the way we'll sue you if you do, to get your own money out.
