South Pole, Antarctica, December Sorry I was unable to plan this at all, you have no idea when you will be able to do things out here. Anyway I decided to raid the South Pole. Unfortunately I lack crew of any kind so I could not get more then two pics. I only ran into one person, the pole isn't a very active place... Anyway Pictures. The image stuff on the forums has no love - links to full size images. Full size img1 Full size img2 Just making it a bit more GLOBAL
Re: South Pole, Antartica Awesome! So what was the response from the public (that one person)? I heard there were some guys in Antartica - it might have been the South Pole - who commented on Tory "Magoo" Christman's videos. Was that you?
Re: South Pole, Antartica Now go forth and warn the emperor penguins and mask them up for epic photo op! I herd they liek mudkips!
Re: South Pole, Antartica He didnt know what Scientology was... I told him a bit about it, nothing too crazy, didnt want him thinking I was a raving lunatic (we have those down here). He at least seemed to be receptive, and did know that Tom Cruse was part of "Some crazy cult". (Score?) Then we got cold, -30 windchill and I had to go back inside before my toes fell off.
Re: South Pole, Antartica Heh, that's great Are you actually at the Pole itself? If so, you could raid every timezone within a minute...
Re: South Pole, Antartica That was win. xenubarb: You need a long plane ride to find the nearest penguins from the South Pole, unfortunately. But that penguin was creepy. Lulz. Next time we should do polar bears. We have them up in Longyearbyen. But how does a polar bear know what Scientology is? PS: The sun never sets on Anonymous. That's what we've been saying for months, but here's a single anon whom the sun never sets on - at least this time of year. Beat that, Scientology!
Re: South Pole, Antartica Hahaha, accly the sun never setting is starting to get to me... *Is working on 28 hour days. Anyway, im off to a field camp for the next three and a half weeks. If I get lucky Ill be back in the states for the next NY protest. l8r all.
Re: South Pole, Antartica Magnificent. Would be good if someone could do a 2009 calendar with pictures like this from around the globe for each month.
Re: South Pole, Antartica Vir, penguins are only found in the southern hemisphere. No polar bear ever laid tooth to one. Santa/polar bears = north pole penguins = south pole
Re: South Pole, Antartica That would be WIN! Pages could represent a global, starting in NZ and AU, working around the globe to wind up in Hawaii! inb4 tits
Re: South Pole, Antartica You are most awesome and I also award you an internet! You take cool to a new level. Heh.
Re: South Pole, Antartica I can just imagine volunteer ministers arriving, seeing your sign, and being like, "FUCK! They're EVERYWHERE!"
Re: South Pole, Antartica that is just the coolest raid ever. our icy raid in düsseldorf was a sauna compared to yours then. gread job!
Re: South Pole, Antartica I wonder how bad you have to piss them off to have them send someone down to fair game you at the south pole ? PS thanks for flipping the pictures North side up for us so you don't look upside down.
Re: South Pole, Antartica Dude, you absolutely NEED to be a part of this project: http://forums.whyweprotest.net/12-current-projects/project-where-hell-anonymous-30536/ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111
Re: South Pole, Antartica OP is indeed made of win. sauce: http://forums.whyweprotest.net/7-general-discussion/proof-anonymous-everywhere-17961/
Re: South Pole, Antartica This is great news...LOL too bad you don't have a GF mask...there are things you could do with it down there
Re: South Pole, Antartica Anyone know anyone who has the skills to do this calendar idea (bit late for january-might have to start from anonversary date or later) ? Although it would be a big project they would be a great statement about what has/is being achieved and sell to all sorts of people if done well and would be excellent publicity.
Re: South Pole, Antarctica PM me with details on how to get a GF mask to you guys - I am more than willing to send it down at my own expense just for the win of seeing EFG reach the South Pole!
Re: South Pole, Antartica I would think it's a bit slow and with some latency due to satellite connection. Spitsbergen has fiberoptic broadband nya nya.
