September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Highlights of the raid: Public freebie: We spoke to a public person who was really shocked and interested of why we protested today. He then gave all of us free tickets to a Nirvava, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots homage show. Traffic: Some accident happened in town which cause a lot of traffic. It was murder. Bicycle: Just as we left, some guy on a ''double bicycle'' passed by. Epic. Puppies and long dogs. Lots of them Threatned by two hobos : While wrapping up to call it quits for today. Two hobos came by and scared a femanon. One took the flier and ATE it, claiming it was cookies. The guy ''Spitter'' spit out the flier and it had blood stains on it. He was also drinking beer in the middle of the street. Spitter then tried to take away an anon's camera and told him he was a faggot to hide his face. The other guy ''Derp Beard Man'' started to threat us that he will kick our asses in five minutes. Spitter also mentioned Tom Cruise for some reason... Then, they both went in the back alley. They came back Spitter spat about 4 times and often got into a fighting position and told an english anon to speak french. Derp Beard Man said he would come back in 5 minutes (Just like the old man who assaulted a femanon months ago) Derp Beard Man also kept mentioning ''his twelve years old son'' who ''had his birthday today''. Then they left, for the moment. Then, we went to the bus stop and they came back. By then, we dialed 911. Suddenly, they both came back very friendly since we told him we called the cops, except for Spitter who spat on an anon's face. Derp Beard Man told Spitter to calm down. A kind old lady called the cops in front of him. He then decided to make apologies and shook hands with us. He even asked us to take a picture and they fucked off. All was caught on film Pics and vids coming soon
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos If someone spits blood on you, could that be assault with a dangerous weapon?
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos It can be, yes. There is legal precedent in the US regarding cops being spat on.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos I think it was only spit that was spat, the blood was only on the chewed up flier. Raid was otherwise WIN! Perfect weather, local support was epic with cars and a bus honking their horns or waving, giving thumbs up and other supportive gestures. Three drivers were so busy staring that they forgot to drive off when the lights turned green. One Anon saw a parent stuck in the traffic giving his son a lesson about $cientology. He pointed at Anons with a big smile, he pointed to the scilon building with a frown. He pointed back at us with a bigger smile. They drove off with waves at us. Anons = Scientology = Moar Anons = Rainbow caek was delicious and moist! Scilons had removed all the paper covering their main window and put up fancy drapes and new signs. There was only one women in the front office when we arrive but she called for backup and scilons tried to look busy but would forget they were to ignore us and sometimes stopped to stare. Saw many leave from the back exit and a few called things at us that we could not hear in our direction. Anons made heart gestures with hands. <3
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Can a mod move this from planning to post-raid Canda? OP was tired.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Sounds like a basically excellent picket, barring the two winos who sound like they were half-baked and you guys just happened to get on their cracked radar thingy, shame on them for being assholes. Good on ya Montealanons for keeping yer cools and still havin' a good time! Kudos! Rock on Anons!
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Also, the cops never shown up or something. Don't know why. When we left, the old lady possibly told them in ended peacefully because I didn't had a call from the cops on my answering machine Also, the org failed at curtain tech. The lady tried to pull the curtain in the window but it would not budge lol. Possibly fixed drapes on the wall or something...
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos geez, sorry you guys had such problems today The Spitter and the other guy? man... that is just horrible
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos There, that's all of them. Assault video coming tomorrow, I just really don't want to see that shit again right nao.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Awesome raid, guys. You're a good-looking bunch.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos I didn't know that we had Anon's in the Red Hat Society! Fantastic raid, great pictures, bummer on the hobos. Keep at it!
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos The hobos reflect the downscale neighbourhood that the Montreal org moved to in the 1980s. In the 1970s, the Montreal org was located downtown in the business and shopping district. The org’s only identification was a poster on the glass door behind which is nothing but a staircase. The org occupied the entire second floor, a tailor shop today. Pierre Ethier claims he saw LRH visit this location in 1973. Google Maps links for a street view of the old org, 1168 St. Catherine Street W. the present org, 4489 Papineau Avenue
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Pretty cool stuff! Have never heard of that before. Thanks for the tip.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos I know about the old address of the COS of Montreal at 1168 St. Catherine Street W. because that's where it was located when I was in. The only dox I can find at the moment is a French-language COS website that summarizes the history of Scientology in Montreal (see snapshot below). It says that some Montrealers became interested in Dianetics in the 1950s, but the first organized and structured activities began in 1970. In March 1973, the Scientology Mission of Montreal opened on Milton Street, not far from McGill University, and it then "changed address to Park Avenue and Hutchison Street" (2 parallel streets; Hutchison is one street west of Park). In September 1973, the mission moved to the corner of St. Catherine Street West and Stanley and became the Church of Scientology on March 13, 1974. The website says that the COS was located on the first floor. It was not at the street level; it was upstairs on the second floor and I don't remember what was above it. There was a Scientology poster on the glass door. I had walked past it countless times without ever noticing it, until one day when a body router offered me the free personality test. Behind the glass door was nothing but the stairs leading to the upper floors. The website says that the COS later moved to Notre-Dame Street in Old Montreal and that it acquired the building located at its present address on Papineau Avenue in August 1979. The ED (executive director) of the COS of Montreal from 1974 to the early 1980s was Pierre Robillard. The registrar was his wife, Heather Robillard. They had two daughters, whose names I don't remember. The volunteer minister Susan Robillard is perhaps one of them. The sign on the Montreal org on Sept. 18 advertises a live Dianetics conference and demonstration by Marcel Robillard on Sept. 22. Robillard is not a rare name, but he might be related to Pierre Robillard.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Well done brothers! You all looked great and wonderful execution of rules 1&2. Your pictures always looks so nice. I wish my photos would turn out nice liek that*jealous*. Once again, nicely done Montreal. Continuer la bataille juste.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos We are just very lucky that they do so well. We always try, with every snapshot to convey the atmosphere of silliness and lulz that spras of our raids, that is, when there is no party-pooper hobos crashing the thing. Speaking of which, the hobos were indeed caught on video camera (i think). All of it happened so suddenl too. They were threating us that if we ever had an material of them, the would hurt us physically. I am just awaiting the cameranon's confirmation if he can, indeed, upload them. I beg all of ou to excuse the delay for it. Those implicated in the incident were shaken up about it (and I don't blame them one bit about it either).
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos I has files and I'll upload the incident video tomorrow on my channel. There's a good dozen minutes of the incident recorded here. Subtitling those quebenazi shitheads may take a while, tho.
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos Well done you guys. Hobos are on the prowl lol
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos ... BTW, can anyone please move this whole thread to post-game reports?
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos At 3:03, you can see in the background the bottle of beer spitter was carrying At 3:17-3:18 you see Spitter grabbing it and buggering off At 3:34 Derp Beard Man says ''Don't take a picture of me'' (Deja vu?) Don't want pictures taken? Don't be a fuckface or you will be a youtube star LOL
Re: September 18th Montreal Post-Raid : Menaced by two hobos They were drunk and looking to make trouble. The whole incident started with them asking a femanon for money, which she did not hear but offered them a lemon flier as she did to all passing by. Then they got pissed by thinking we were all english speakers when most are bilingual. and any photos. Montreal drunk hobos hate photos even when none have been taken. lulz. But mostly drunk and looking for trouble. Think they got confused when we did not get mad or scared but just WTFman at them. Vid of happitimez and dancing nao SVP? As rest of raid was pure win.
