Second Scientology-Sponsored Charter Flight Takes Doctors, Ministers and Medical Supplies to Haiti

The description for this photo suggests, "Medical supplies, nutrition and hygiene products are unloaded to go on the plane."

Yet all I see being unloaded are rice and beans.

I guess that's about right in Scientology terms.

Actually, teaming up with serious organizations was a quite clever move.

FTR Genuine specialists have been prevented from landing in Haiti.

Slightly off topic: The Israeli Team set up the only one working hospital that was 100% self substaining. Those peeps are way ahead of everyone else.

And where are the people waiting for the food? The area looks deserted other than for grinning yellow charlatans.

Funny how some people fall for obvious trolling. Again and again and again.

Personally, I am quite dismayed by how the shoulder patches in the photo above use a traditional four-armed Christian cross instead of the true eight-armed satanic cross of the "Church" of Scientology.

How many naive/innocent bystanders will be fooled by this blatant misdeception, where the CoS Volunteer "Ministers" disguise themselves as caring Christians?

How do they propose all those injured, homeless people cook the rice and beans? It's not like there are stoves and pans lying around. Not to mention most of the place is without electricity to turn on said stoves.

Funny how everyone else is sending ready-to-eat meals.

Before they go, they might want to word clear "machete" as those are being used by looters.

    without pans or clean water?

re: Second wave of Volunteer Ministers being flown to Haiti

How do you know they don't have either of those? It can't be too hard to acquire. Besides, you can get water out of a river and boil it and it's usually not so bad.

But that being said, not being ready-made, is kind of inconvenient.

You need to pay more attention to the reports coming out of Haiti.

re: Second wave of Volunteer Ministers being flown to Haiti

Maybe the actions of the volunteer ministers can't be so easily pigeonholed into pure PR or pure altruism...

Likewise. Let's ride the downward spiral together into oblivion my love!

Look closely at the patch. The eight points of the standard Cof$ cross have been turned into loops within the larger "christian" cross. The eight points are still there, just in a modified to create, as you put it, a "blatant misdeception".

    Herro said
Sure they can, pure PR plain and simple. How many other groups have a PR department pushing out pictures of four people with half a pallet of rice. Hell, the only reason Dr's Without Borders even made the papers was because of having their planes turned back early on.

They are just there to recruit slaves for their orgs. No Haitian can afford Scientology, but how many haitians will grab on to a chance to get the hell out of there...the hell of working in an org in Russia has got to be better than the hell they are living in right now...rice and beans is rice and beans after all...

So you're sure that all of the VMs that went there only cared about PR? And you're sure that nobody in scientology from micavige all the way down to the individual volunteer ministers is, at least, partially motivated by a desire to help? How do you know that? It doesn't really seem to explain the behavior we observe all that well.
