What I find really amusing about that sea orgy image is it's actually tough to tell by their faces if they're male or female.
Is davey looking for females in the sea orgAN who are at zero risk of becoming pregnant or something?

Maybe it's in case any man gets caught in bed with another man, he can pretend that he's really a she.

But if they were trying to look like Marines instead of squids, would it bother you then?

(Former USN here [until they realized what a screwup I was, and sent me packing with a general discharge  ], and yes seeing them in that getup does annoy me.)

Let's not forget that recruits to the Swiss Guard have to be at least 19, have completed basic training in the Swiss military (ie, know WTF they're doing) and have finished HS at the least. And they serve no more than 25 years, not a fucking billion. Given that they ensure the security of entrances to the Vatican and the Apostolic Palace... they serve a purpose and are real fucking soldiers, not play ones like Davy's Navy.

And am I the only one who really, really doesn't want to see the contents of the Vatican's porn stash...? Then again, why, if a dude fucks a sheep, does the sheep get the harder penance??

If there's anyone who can print resonable quality postcards, please print some of the cool shoops (especially the ones of Davey). These deserve to be seen, right?

Please send them (as postcards, not in envelopes) to

OMG!!! Died laughing. Now THIS ONE needs to be made into some postcards for the Over the Wall Op.

They aren't imitating them. They are actual military ribbons. They come from the army surplus store on Melrose Ave in LA. They are just assigned different meanings in the Sea Org.

LOL Kookaburra, we are once again on the same page. I had exactly the same thought. If someone could put that into a postcard (5 1/2 x 4 1/4 or 139 x 107 mm) sized template, we could print it out on postcards at home and provide the mailroom people at int base with a few snickers.

I thought Hallmark would let you send a card with your own artwork on the front, and your favourite music.

Sum proof of this, and we could make displaying ribbons/medals on sea org uniforms a no no.

Can we use this at the protests (using part of their own "history")?

Something like "Whatever happened to Pat Broeker, the Sea Org's first Loyal Officer?"

    http://www.holysmoke.org/cos/docs/amicus-exhibits-continued.txt

    53. Perhaps the most telling use of his rank and position in the Sea Org occurred in 1988 when David Miscavige cancelled what had been presented as the last message from L. Ron Hubbard, calling it a forgery. Hubbard's message was dated January 19, 1986, about a week before Hubbard died, and was issued as Flag Order 3879, "The Sea Org & The Future." At that time, it was issued to all Scientologists and was even reduced in size and issued (with Miscavige's approval) along with a photograph of Hubbard so Sea Org members could put it on their desks. In that Flag Order, Hubbard said he was stepping down as Commodore and assuming the rank of Admiral. He also created a new Sea Org rank of "Loyal Officer" that was "directly above the rank of Captain" and appointed Pat Broeker as the first Loyal Officer. Pat Broeker had lived with Hubbard for years while Hubbard was in seclusion and had become his closest aide and confidant. This alone gave Broeker considerable power and the promotion meant that he would outrank Miscavige in the Sea Org.

    54. With Hubbard's death, a power struggle ensued over the next two years, culminating in David Miscavige canceling this Flag Order on April 18, 1988, claiming (with no proof or evidence) that it was fabricated by Broeker. The cancellation was issued as a Sea Organization issue with no other authority but that of "Captain David Miscavige." It must be stressed that this is no small accomplishment, to cancel what had been represented as Hubbard's last message to all of Scientology, with no evidence or documentation but on the word and rank of Miscavige alone.

Amazing that Pat Broeker was so clever and canny that he could outwit the most super-duper OT of all, Lafayette Ronald Hubbard himself! And now we learn that Jason Beghe was a 12 year mole, who fooled the next most super-duper OT, Capt Miscavige.

    Some tech.

What happened to Pat Broeker after this, btw?

I was trying to get proof of this with the link I posted.. but I couldn't match any ribbons the guy was wearing (in one of the first pictures posted in the thread.. guy in the white uniform, bust picture) with anything from the site I was looking at. They were all quite similar, but not the same.

For instance, the guy was wearing one that was black and yellow striped, but the most similar and legit one I could find was black and white striped and had to do with Korea or something.

If you can find proof that I missed, I'd like to know! It would be so awesome to find, but even worse that they would be wearing ribbons they didn't even earn for certain events people take a lot of pride in participating in.

I know you've looked at regular medals, but have you looked at ribbons for merit badge medals? Marksmanship etc. Do you have ribbons for those in the US military?

Someone said he wasn't there much anymore. They should be sent to all Orgs to make sure EVERYBODY gets to enjoy them!

Also if some clever anon could make a video montage to these and post them on youtube....:rofl::rofl:

    GovTrack: S. 1998 [109th]: Text of Legislation
"verbally or in writing" means by the use of words. Thus, simply wearing the medals, etc doesn't fall under the prohibition in the Act.

That doesn't mean it's not PR flappable, though.

One more question about the stolen valor thing: What's the legality of claiming someone else has medals? Y'know how the Scilons keep saying Elron was a decorated war hero? What can be done about that?

Once it became illegal to do so, they quickly shut up about Ron the Decorated War Hero, and abridged it to Ron the War Hero--not illegal to claim he wasn't an utter fuckup after all.

In terms of Homeland Security it is a terrible risk running around impersonating military officials. Quick, get Cheney, Sen Warner, the Secretary of the Navy, Joint Chiefs. Do they fly in those costumes?

Giving individuals personal responsibilities? So when Captain David Miscavige travels, who pays his way?

Can someone modify an ad to say "Join the SeaOrg, see the world (as long as you pay for it)"?

Re: Scn's latest Sea Arrhg Ad May 08

We need a Miscavige family tree.

Davey was the youngest of 4 children. One sibling is older brother Ron Jr (Ronnie)--father of Jenna, and another is Denise Miscavige Licciardi (is that a photo of her?). The 4th I don't know the name of. All of his siblings presumably had children. I remember reading somewhere two of the four children are twins.

    ^^^THIS THIS THIS!!! OMG, THIS!

And not just shopped Miscavige pics, shopped pics in general. Holy hell, can you imagine the lulz that would ensue if we made postcards out of the shopped pics IN THIS THREAD ALONE (let alone some of the other threads we've had) and started mailing them en masse to all teh various global Scilon Orgs around the world?

I think that "desk" Davey is leaning on is really the coffee table that belongs in front of that sofa behind him. He thinks posing with it makes him look tall. If it was a real normal size desk he would have to peek over it.
