Sci is now paying youtube top dollar for commercializing the cult.

This is a premium paid account set up... no comments, no ratings, If you click on this it will boost the vids view count, period. Sure enough they are going to have every sci available click and all critic vids will begone from front page of search.

I think we need to be proactive and have a massive click campaign of critics/anons most important vids so they they will remain top priority for viewers.

DON'T LET SCI CONTROL THE INFORMATION.

Let's focus and come to an agreement on a top 10 at least.
If this is a bad idea, just let me know...
  4. Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

They flagged WBM's videos for "hate speech". I don't see why we shouldn't give them the same treatment.

    I'll make some parodies later.

Do we have any more clips of their medical claims? We could create a Youtube account addressing Scientology's fraudulent claims That would be another footbullet heading their way.

Who wants to make shitloads of youtube videos that attack David Miscavige left and right?

I'm making one that accuses him of killing L Ron and his Mother-in-Law. We should begin to focus our attacks on Miscavige. He is using Scientology as a scapegoat, so why are we attacking it?

This statement makes you no better than the Scilons. Anonymous isn't out to slander people, Anonymous is here to spread the truth about the church and its deceptions.

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

When Bunker's account went down i went to yt to read the TOS. No violation. The real deal is in some community standards subsection. These say attacking a religion is no go. YT doesn't have the balls/cash/intelligence to decide who is a religion and who is not. Not their baileywick or whatever... Fine. Scientology isn't a religion. It IS intolerant to all religions except Buddhism. It is de facto and de jure a system of beliefs intolerant of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Flag it for religious hatred.

On the new scilon video push (and Scientology Video Channel: Church of Scientology Official Site went over to video a while back, after the first raid), there's a great film from Toronto about this, where a media specialist suspiciously similar to Marshall McLuhan, named Brian O'Blivion, states: "The battle for the mind of North America will be fought in the video arena." Also, Fetch et al are openly calling Scientology bullshit now. Appears like last gasp. A big $$$ deal between Scn and YT? Documentation would be useful.

Okay, time to review for the hivemind.
    Some ideas:

    1) Parody videos: rip the existing ones, mock them, expose the lies, put up as parody (yay 1st Amendment) and use the same search tags as the main video.
issues: Co$ sidebar doesn't allow outsider videos?

    2) Flag: flag the videos as often as possible for inappropriate content. Same with the account. Accuse them of hate speech and bring up the "Jesus is a fag" type stuff the $cilons spout in secret.
Issues: Will this accomplish anything? Do we risk this footbulleting our own accounts?

    3) Turn it around: Very possible they footbulleted themselves by keeping all the access limited. No comments, low subscribers, etc. Do whatever we can to bleed them dry here and force them to pay money to YT while reaping low rewards. Minimize through collective efforts (will need more discussion) the # of people going to these videos.
    Issues:Most difficult method, limited options

All in all, we need to keep brainstorming, start solidifying a plan of attack. OUR TURF. We must protect this house!

    QFT.

I vote wait and see. For the time being they're getting no interest at all (go figure). Should their numbers pick up THEN we can subscribe with guy fawkes masks as profile pictures.

At the moment it's annoying but pathetic. Just let it stand there scared and alone like a frightened dog. If it starts barking, then (and bear in mind, I love dogs) we beat the living daylights out of it, and make fools of them.

MOAR videos is always better. MOAR bout DM in particular, who is atm a little undernourished. Videos on Gregg's situation would be good too.

    Oh, Pelvidar...

Video's with identical tags to theirs is the way to go.
Just copy the tags and put a nice, factual and to the point anti sci video there.

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

I agree with the people that say mass flagging is a bad idea. Don't we WANT to people to see their sketchy-as-hell, non-informational videos, and then search youtube for OUR awesome, info-packed videos? People wanna decide for themselves. As long as they have access to free information, and there's no brainwashing involved, they'll probably say screw scientology.

I understand that CoS started the whole mass flagging thing first, but we definitely don't wanna be seen as pro-censorship. Once you start playing by the exact same rules as CoS, the public sees it as a battle between Group A vs. Group B rather than Freedom of Information vs. Evil Censorship. And once that happens, you can kiss broad-based support goodbye.

    Now what?

My guess is they added enturbulation as a keyword or something?

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

At the moment youtube is dominated by our side. Anyone typing "Scientology" in will almost definitely see critical vids not theirs.

We should definitely avoid doing anything that will help their incursion. E.g. flagging them = pointless, timewasting and ups their viewcount.

As said, tagging new vids with identical tags is probably our best response.

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

With the scientology success stories videos, would it be in bad taste to do parodies of them with their victims on the podium telling their 'success' story? Or has this been done?
  32. Anonymous1001 Member

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

    Suggested tactics:

    1. Create critical/parody videos, using the same search tags. Suggest also putting up existing videos (WBM, Beghe, Jenna) with the same tags.

    2. Spam the Video Response with links to anti-Scientology videos.

    3. If I look at the Jason Beghe video, and then somehow get to a Scientology video, does that mean the Jason Beghe video shows up in the Related Videos section?

    4. Hit their Channel Comments with criticisms and links to anti-Scientology material.

    5. Nail them for any possible copyright violations. Fair Game is Fair Game.

    Re: Scilon YouTube channel/PR push

The best thing to do with the success stories is to find plenty of people that were dissatisfied with scientology and people that have been harmed by scientology and make well-researched and well-make videos proving these things, and then make a video reply.

That tells me a lot of people are going tot he channel, but nobody is watching their videos.

Does the video on the channel homepage count as a "view"? Because, unfortunately, I watched that first video. I'm sorry. :(

They claim that Youth for Human Rights isn't a Scientology front group, and yet, all the YHRI videos were created by Scientology at Gold, and get used as Scientology promotional videos when they need content.
