Scientology Religiosity? (Research Packets & Dox)

Discussion in 'Projects' started by AnonLover, Sep 22, 2011.

    Gentlemen,
The Chanology christfag retrospective reckoning for the Scientology and the Bible (1967) leak has begun.

This series of e-publications is for the sole purpose of referring people too, when the awkward question of "Is Scientology a Religion?" arises.

This here thread, is strictly for project efforts surrounding the ongoing publication of dox. And if anyone haz i-hate-all-religions faggotry to express, or wants to seriously discuss the materials presented in any given volume - plox take it to a new thread in a more appropriate forum - and dont shit up my active project thread with the usual hissy fits that arise when the dreaded "R" word comes up.

Published dox & lings as of September 22, 2011:

Scientology Religiosity? Album (Related Graphics & Artwork)

Scientology Religiosity? Dox Collection (Custom Publications + Related Materials)

Scientology Religiosity? Volume 0 - Materials Index (Project Outline)

Scientology Religiosity? Volume I - God, Heaven, Hell and the Hope of Mankind (described below)

Some Introductory Notes from the Materials Index:
For those who might take issue with this project - to each his own. Scientology + Religion is a trending set of keywords as of late, so its high time Anon do more than go "herp derp - we dont protest their beliefs..." when stupid noob questions come up.

IMO - this angle is extremely exploitable, if handled properly. I've attempted to do just that, tastefully... and the cake cornbread is now being served.

Suck it up hard #ButtChurch - UR Time Haz Come.

Feedback, suggestions, discrepancies & other input on how to make this publication better in later editions is welcome in ITT for ongoing project efforts. But for discussion & debate of the actual materials - plox take it to a different thread (see OP) so we can stay on target here w/ getting the other 8 volumes published by the end of this year.

The question does matter for legal reasons. If you are a religion, you get tax breaks nobody else gets. Law Enforcement treats you differently. Some things you can legally do for religious reasons, like not getting a vaccine, etc. So this is an important project!

I was looking for that list... more than onced. thx!

I typically update the Materials Index / Volume O at least once a week, sometimes moar (thus no xtra fileshare on that document... it changes frequently, so intrested peeps need to get a free scribd sock acct setup if you want to halp out on later volumes)

Next ^^Index Update (when dust settles on initial release stufferz) electrovest lings will be tied in. And do let us know iff'n you can find any other religion studies journal articles to add to your index.

Also... Another <3 Note, for when DH hits this thread: I've already culled yer FrontCite listings for relevant stuff, and u can chk me if you liek - see pgs 23-24 of my project index.

Good thread to point out... i've looked at that stuff a few times, but never got farther than "hmmmmmm" stage. As i couldnt/havent *yet* figured out where it would best fit it into my project outline under the materials index.

However, since it was brought up ITT... i'll revisit it again once i get a little further along.

anybody got other suggestion for adding materials i dont have noted yet in the project index?

24hrs after initial release of Vol I & i got 529 views +10 downloads on scribd, and a handful more d/l's on the mediafire fileshare.

Not too shabby considering I haven't (yet) crossposted this to other forums; nor harpooned this release in the direction of any of the relevant media outlets or blogs listed above. Which I probably will do eventually... altho i seemingly suck quite badly at pressfag poonage.

So if anybody wants to lend a hand in ^^That regard plox feel free to jump in, man some 'poons using the Volume I dox as ammo & help spread this stuff around more. Then plox either PM me or post a msg ITT so i know which venues have been hit, and dont accidentally duplicate your poons later on.

Meanwhile, I have already harpooned Vol I to other clergy/layperson & educational contacts that I've been in touch with previously in regards to their interest in understanding more about the nuts & bolts of the scriptures and teachings. And their responses so far is extremely positive, heavy on the blown away wow factor + full of hope & encouragement that i can keep the tentative publication schedule (at the back of the materials index) for releasing the other volumes by the end of this year.

EDIT: and soon as i get all ^^Those ongoing e-mail convos & lengthy followup discussions wrapped up today (hopefully), I'll get an announcement on this project crossposted to other fora if it hasnt landed there by osmosis already.

bump for shoutout to leak horders... one thing i didnt manage to track down from old leaks no longer readily available, was a newer red on white version for the Routine 3 Heaven HCOB in subsection v1.01.007 (pg50) for showing that the old 1960's version i do have a copy of, had longevity.

If anyone happens to have of a red on white copy of this, plox be sharing a copy with me so i can roll it into a later edition of Volume I. TIA!!
  24. Anonymous Member

As far as I know, the most recent red vols "omitted" the Heaven HCOB, although I could be wrong.
  25. AnonLover Member

The most recent ones yes - but i once had an actual red text on white copy, so it was leaked at some point. However, I lost mine when my hungry kitty knocked over the external drive i had my original leak library stored on.

I *think* it came from this old thread, but not 100% sure on that...

Project Outline Updated with latest greatest stuff - FWIW, I'm keeping a detailed change log in the comments below the document for every time I upload a new version.

    Scientology Religiosity? Materials Index

    Protips for Optimal Scribd Usage:
The newer flash dazzle overkill dashboard style interface can be annoying as hell in IE and Firefox, altho I hear good things about it from Opera and Safari users. But imo - in Firefox, its craptastic over-engineered web software that makes heavy use of the site an enormous PITA.

Fortunately, once you signup for a free user profile/account, you can turn that flash dazzle shit off and go bak to the original nice clean KISS Scribd interface. Here's how:
    1. After login, Upper Right corner has a quick navigation menu on the dropdown list that pops down when you point your mouse at it.
    2. Pick "Settings" from that dropdown list, then see "Reading" section part way down the page.
    3. Remove the checkmark for "Display documents in HTML mode (recommended)" to turn dashboard style (HTML5) interface OFF.
    4. Click the "Save Changes" button directly under that setting to kill the flash dazzle beast.
Up next - work in progress notes on Volume II will be posted ITT later today... and I'm hoping to get a little assistance from my fellow christfags on the LRH quotations vs. bible scripture segment so that we can expand on whats been done in the past by OG critics & Kurt Van Gorden .

It's complete of topic, but the interesting thing about song is that in it Everlast actually came out as a Muslim, after having converted to Islam. For those of you who don't know him, he is an Irish American named Erik Schrody and was one of the singers of the House of Pain. In 1998 he had a very successful album called Whitney Ford Sings the Blues. At some for some reason he coverted to Islam and Put Your Lights on contains a phrase "La ilaha illa Allah", ("there is no god but The God" in Arabic).

OK I'm Finally ready to pass the quotation segment of Volume II off for Halp from my fellow Christfags that have an interest in lending me a hand on these materials...

Each Volume is slated to have a quotations segment that jives with the theme/topics in that packet. but in Volume II, I vary that part of the plan a little bit, and I put together a comparison of quotes vs. scripture, derived from the two sources linked in my quoted comment above.

Volume II: LRH/Scientology Quotations vs. Christian Scriptures

Halp Wanted - Find me MORE quotation comparisons to use! Surely ^^This segment can easily grow a few more pages long.

Other notes - It took longer to pull the above draft document together than I expected because the OG source was alot rougher than i realized. Changes made to that material in my updated version (aside from combining it w/ newer material), include these major copyedits:
    • incorrect bible reference citations fixed,
    • uncertain or vague LRH citations clarified,
    • a few weakly relevant bible citations were replaced with much more fitting stuff, and
    • additional relevant bible citations added in spots where there was soooo much more to say.
    • Plus wildly varying bible versions standardized for consistency

(First to KJV/NKJV just for chking accuracy & polishing up stuff - I stuck to what i know readily at first, and much to dismay of my catholic priest(s) i prefer KJ versions over NAB. Then once content-integrity copyedits were done, i switched everything over to the more popular non-denom ESV for ease of readability, with the rare exception where ESV dropped something from KJV that was needed for keeping the comparison being made intact.)
<3 Note to Perry Scott & Peik Stromshölm if those dudes are still alive - i do not mean to disrespect your past works, which are still awesome, w/ the changes noted above. I just have better dox, more dox, and better tools than ya'all did.

Also - Here's an assist for easily finding controversial quotes to match up with scriptures - all my OTHER quotation segments put together so far (which are still in draft form except for Vol I) where I've already done mass dox searches & cataloging:
(sidenote on the above - I only got thru basic book searches, tech vol searches, and the first level of SHBC searches so far for compiling these quotation segments. I hope to get the rest of the SHBC levels fully searched/harvested by the time i get Vol III released. So the above links will automagically get updated from time to time as i get each level done)

Lastly - My personal fav online tools for matching up LRH quotes up with relevant scriptures:

After thought on this /r/ halp... non christfags who dont know their scriptures can halp too.

Notice the 2nd section of the document (at the end) is church spokesholes who opened mouth and inserted foot in a big way. And I only got the 2 classic ones listed so far, Liesa Goodman & Karin Pouw.

Tommy Davis is currently missing. And he should be featured prominently - and often. Find me his Top 10-15 list of raging loon "SO are rough tough SOBs" remarks, post ITT fully cited and I'll surely be able to easily find scriptures to match up to atleast half of 'em, once i got a big ol list to chew on.

Also - what's his weirdly spelled name... that crazy old executive with the apeshit loon eyes that accompanied the crazy harpy ex-wives on Anderson Cooper's show. Surely that nutjob said something outrageous enough that I can find a ripe scripture comparison to accompany it.

(And if peeps do post spokeshole-only remarks in ITT, other christfags that know their bible are welcome to jump in w/ scripture quote to pair it with if you like.)

I forgot about that work... thks! I might find a place for an excerpt from that somewhere near the end of the series, not sure tho.

FWIW - Imma gonna get into similarities w/ Crowley when i do the most damning volume of the whole series - Vol IV Gnosticism

(cuz thats exactly what Hubtard's religious philosphy is, ultimately - extremely radical new age gnosticism. Which puts the best one, in the middle of the series.. editorially awkward YES i know. But thats just how it worked out by divine osmosis. And since LRH's teachings are utterly ass backward to begin with, i figured there was a fitting irony in how the bigger-picture topical outline came together naturally and opted to leave it that way as 'fated'.)

^^Oh you. No, its gnosticism through-n-through. Which btw - is even more damning to bible-study lovers than Satanism because they feel compelled to gnaw on that bone alot longer than they will when just writing off LRH as "Meh- Evil" when you dumbly lump it under moonbattery satanism.

Meanwhile, over on OCMB - the best of the OG researchfags have begun to take notice of this project, and Caroline has offered up some more juicy law quotes for the Volume II Quotations vs. Scripture segment:
