Thanks for the Source mag! It appears that people are redoing things at Flag that they have done elsewhere. I know someone who is referenced in this Source mag as completing OT 3. However, they have been an OT 4 for at least a couple of years.

Anyone have Source magazine issues 202 through 204?

I didn't see Rex Fowler in 205 or 206, but can't find the earlier issues to check what, if anything, he might have completed at Flag recently.

    "30 years of technical perfection"

    LOL IRONY. inb4 The Basics.

Seriously I see things like this and I wonder how the fuck can Scientologists not question all the new releases, over and over again.

Also thanks for posting new (old) mags.

Introduction to Standard tech - issue 173, 2005.

Introduction to Standard tech - issue 181, 2006.

Whatever happened to the "super power" of total recall?

Haven't downloaded the issues. Is it really the exact same thing in both issues? Maybe a 2-part story that takes over a year to complete? A standard tech that is so hard to explain that it had to be posted twice?

And hasn't the "standard" tech been re-done?

No wonder they don't put dates on these rags. They really need to stop putting issue numbers on them as well. As of 2005, issue 173, announcing their "30 years of Technical Perfection", shows that they've only released about 5.5 issues per year.

From Source Mag #208, Section covering 3-day Elron Birthday event:

I noticed that twice, event venue was called "Clearwater Performing Arts Center" (instead of Ruth Eckerd Hall, which is what it is). Also, pix of all the other events that weekend, but None at actually b'day event at Ruth Eckerd. Now I'm wondering if Ruth Eckerd do Not Want any promotion of sci. Maybe some of R.E.'s wealthier patrons started objecting?

As usual, the blatant lies about highest evers. And now even the brain dead must have noticed this one (and maybe wonder what else?):
"Outdoor evenings are cool and comfortable in Clearwater..."

Technically, maybe a couple weeks out of the year this would be true. The rest you'd be soaked clean thru within 15 minutes standing outside.

    Re: SCIENTOLOGY MAGAZINES

I cannot stop laughing! Thank you, Pod People, for this most magnificent treat!

Scientology is a cult that loves to cram everybody up like cattle to get a shot of as many people as possible. I did a very perfunctory count where I even guesstimated in favor of the cult how many people were in this poolside pic and even counted double for people that might be behind flowers and pillars. And then rounded it up from 150 to 200. I'll generously give them 200 for the lulzy poolside picture.

    Look at this:

    fthpoolside.png

^^^That's a google map aerial shot of the Ft. Homicide poolside area. There is easily enough room to UNCOMFORTABLY RUSTLE UP AT LEAST 500 SCILONS FOR A GROUP SHOT IN THAT AREA! Where's all your Scilons in Clearwater, Slappy???

LMFAO @ a new record being set with over 5,000 people in attendance? Let's see a panoramic shot of the people inside RUTH ECKERD HALL. I LOVE HOW THEY CALL IT "CLEARWATER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER" INSTEAD OF RUTH ECKERD NAMED FOR THE MATRIARCH OF THE ECKERD DRUG STORE EMPIRE. NO one calls it the Clearwater Performing Arts Center! Let me help you all out here. If you don't want to mention that pesky Eckerd name, you can call it the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts.

Let's do some ciphering! Ruth Eck---ermmmm...The Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts only seats 2,180 people. You're saying you had over 5,000 people attend this event. The overflow had to stand at the Flag Auditorium? I'm going to use 5,100 for the number of people who attended because, come on! Who the fuck are we kidding, right?

    5,100-2,180=2,920

So, you sat 2,180 people at THE RICHARD B. BAUMGARDNER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS and had 2,920 people standing in an auditorium at Flag?

    Prove it.

We protested all day at Flag that day. There was a little bit more movement that day, but not anything substantial. We saw even less in the way of traffic going into THE RICHARD B. BAUMGARDNER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS than we did last year.

All day and all night we watched you downtown and at THE RICHARD B. BAUMGARDNER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS and we saw nothing that would indicate that there were over 5,000 extra fucking Scientologists in downtown Clearwater.

Thanks again, Pod People! This has made my day! <3

    Re: SCIENTOLOGY MAGAZINES

Well, actually, the 5,000 attendance record referred to people at Flag. But yes, 2,180 is Ruth Eckerd capacity, and All the references to highest ever blah blah is blah blah.

But I'm still thinking the fact that they didn't include pix of Ruth Eckerd event (the Main bday event) and also didn't say Ruth Eckerd (or Baumgartner) tells me Ruth Eckerd just soooo much doesn't want that kind of publicity, or the Patrons (Ruth Eckerd, not sci) complained. I hope this is so, and that maybe sci won't be able to use that venue anymore.

I still love the "clearwater nights are cool and comfortable". This is a major footbullet. Who doesn't know that Florida is miserably hot and humid most of the time? What do Scientologists think when they see this obvious lie? And why the hell would Flag think to do this? Maybe someone on the inside is giving something like a little clue? hahahahahha

    Re: SCIENTOLOGY MAGAZINES

It was in the low 90's today. Like a fucking sauna. Rare are the days when we get the cooling afternoon rains. It's hot. It's miserable. Walking the damned sidewalks in Clearwater is hellish. To be enclosed in a courtyard like that? <Free purif rundowns for everyone while you stand like cattle for this photo op.

    Stupid cult.
