    Scientology in Pakistan

The number of people effected by this program keeps growing,

Pakistan is getting increasing attention from Scientology, and whats more they have the government support cuz they treat them like an NGO.

After their program Criminon, they have started propogating their narconon program, they have gotten the book Way to Happiness' translated in local language Urdu and propagating the Dianetics Program as a means to achieve personal excellence, targeting middle class working individuals.

Professionals are getting their courses certifications to attach to their CVs to make them look good. They have no idea what this whole movement is about. Recently we had Hubbard's Birthday celeberated at the City's Arts Council!!

Is there anyone out there who has been effected directly or indirectly, or can help me legally run them out of our society? or at least stop using their methods of manipulation on Pakistanis?

Oh, my god. This has been my biggest fear. If Sci gets a foothold in a few emerging nations, and finds a couple of big money donors to bankroll them, the game changes.

In the 1970s, when tobacco companies realized things were not going to go their way in the US, they embarked on an ambitious program of corporate acquisition and market expansion.

By the 90s, they had restructured themselves so that if every single American smoker quit, it wouldn't significantly affect their profits or their future plans.

    Sharif’s blog

apart from that, there was a previous thread on this forum alone which mentions UN Pakistan backing the Criminon program.

And you cannot host programs like these without local govt support. I don't have exacting documents. But I can give you photographs with govt and army officials.

I want to take relevant evidence of this scam to the media, but I don't know if they'll make a story out of it or not.. Do u guys have any experience regarding that?

especially if I want to blow the cover of the Dianectics and Narconon program,

Currently they operate on low key, n they dont mention to the public about its links to Scientology..

I too wouldnt have known, if I hadn't read about Scientology and its terminologies.

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

It's certainly a very... interesting move, for an organization as racist as Scientology. Can you really imagine Miscavige and friends being all 'love and kisses' with a bunch of people who aren't WASPs? I think that any Sci activity in Pakistan is great for their internal PR ("look at all these hopeless people we're helping...") and good for some cash flow (although you can't charge $3000 for a set of books there, can you?)

I think they'll be surprised at how little time it takes the developing nations to wise up and kick them back out, though. There have been large pyramid scheme scandals in several countries recently that wouldn't be possible in the west anymore... but they won't get suckered the same way again.

Anybody wanting to warn about Scientology in Pakistan, etc., keep the message simple: Dianetics is Scientology. Narconon is Scientology. Criminon is Scientology. WISE and anything else with 'LRH tech' is Scientology. Scientology is a wacky American religion.

Malaysia Anon here. Malaysia is also an Islamic country.

There used to be an Applied scholasics here a few years ago, but it was shut down. Sorry, no dox on this.

Try highlighting that Narconon is Scientology. Also, there are numerous references where L. Ron Hubbard insulted The Prophet (PBUH) and Islam.

There is a YouTube video somewhere where you can hear Hubbard insulting Islam.

I don't know exactly, but he's working with currently two centers in Karachi.
Dr. Shareef is not a psychiatrist.. but I'm not sure about that..

There's this guy Etqaan Farooqi, who's the Director of the Dianetics program, and then some other guy, who looks after the whole Scientology Pakistan..

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

If scientology or L. Ron Hubbard vids were erased i jhaz back upz o most of them. And I think I know what video your reffering to.
  15. anonpak Member

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

Actually I think they're not in Pakistan for the money.. they have a different program for us, cuz they're charging nominal fee, and distributing their pamphlet booklet Way to Happiness freely.

is it possible for these people to be training individuals for some purpose other than profit?

Surely its not a charity or a philanthropic concern!

There is a longer video, without music in the background, that includes this and touches on Christianity as well, called "L Ron Hubbard Scientology blaspheming other religions."

    Thanx for posting the video..

I'll keep updating my progress on the forum, plz provide me with all documentary evidence etc. against the Narconon/ Dianetics program apart from youtube videos that I can take to the press to make a case out of it.

Pakistan is a deeply Islamic country (with a moderate Christian minority). It is an emerging economy but nowhere near the scale of India or China.

My biggest concern is the cult will do a "Haiti" on them and use Pakistani recruits as compliant labor.

$20 a week working in the Sea Org would seem ok to someone working for $1 a day.

Pakistani people deserve more respect than being ripped off by a cult.

Scilons have been in Haiti for more than 2 years. This meets the requirement for importing R-1 Religious Workers into the US.

Seriously, I can't see scilons making any large inroads into Pakistan . They might get a few oblivious local involved, but don't underestimate the Muslim backlash when they discover that Narconon is Scientology.

Unfortunately, Scientology wants to rule not only planet Earth, but this sector of the galaxy.

"Mohammed was a Body Thetan" should be a suitable rallying call

PM me if you want more info.

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

While I hope you're right, my concern is that Sci will take money it raises in one country, and use it in a more hospitable place. If they do get thrown out of Pakistan, they'll get to keep the money they raised there.

Also, I can imagine plenty of impoverished, intelligent young people who are disaffected from Islam being lured into the SeaOrg. Or falling for the "you can stay a Muslim and still do Sci. It's compatible with any religion!" ploy.

I simply don't want to see them make even the slightest inroad anywhere. It's too risky.
  24. chrisanon Member

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

They generally start off with low-priced courses no matter where they are. People who really get hooked on their programs will almost certainly see prices shoot up.

I think the plan for Pakistan is workers for the SeaOrg. This is their slave labor (literally) branch that does all the dirty work.

Thanks, anonypak. This is relevant to my interests and will not go unnoticed in the Muslim community in the US.

As for getting the media to take interest, I think your best bet is developing relationships with the psychiatry and mental health community. Remember, Scientology wants to destroy all mental health services everywhere.

I've talked to a friend of mine in media, and he says they won't air a story based on hear say or an experience reported in any other country. Might damage the credibility of their news channel. So i will have to give him a list of local victims, or at least one person who was adversely effected by their system. Then too it might be difficult to keep the news alive due to the expected pressure that might come from the group. Thus it is the best bet to mobilize public opinion through the internet and develop a resistance.

In the mean time, I will keep looking for any similarities I can draw from developing countries where scilons are at work.

Email the Taliban and Al-Qaeda and let them know that Scientology believes that God does not exist, Mohammed invented Islam cause business was bad, and Issa (Jesus) fucked young boys. I'm sure the fundamentalist muslims will be so intimidated by a lawsuit. Oh, and contact rageboy and his crowd too.

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

    THIS ^^, obviously.

It puzzles me too: what does DM expect to get out of Colombia, St Lucia, Dominica, Haiti, South Africa, and now Pakistan? Lots of little brown faces, certainly, but he needs rich white faces without much education to run his con. I don't see many SOs coming out of Karachi. I don't see an America religion being allowed to gain ground in an Islamic country either.

Maybe DM has enough stashed away to run his alleged church without income for the rest of his life, using slave labour to do impressive building renovations all over the wealthy world? I imagine this is all part of a plan but I don't see quite what it is. Unless he genuinely wants to bring the benefits of Scientology to all the people of Earth.

I'm certain he doesn't know much about the realities of life in the poorer parts of the world. Why does he think they are so poor?

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

What's the matter? Afraid the Muzzies might actually do something bad to the cult? If the Taliban are too nasty for your milquetoast liking then contact whatever Islamic scholars exist and let them know EXACTLY what Scientology believes.

If the cult wants to go into an Islamic country and insult Islam's prophet, as well as a revered law-giver, to say nothing of mocking Allah, then I say more power to the Muslims.

Personally, I'd accept the cult being tarred and feathered then run out of town on a rail, but it's up the Muzzies to deal with them however they want.

Oh, and under Islamic law, blasphemy is punishable by *DEATH*. So yes, the cult is committing a capital crime.

    Re: Scientology in Pakistan

Auchraw, every one of these countries have a wealthy elite; that is who DM is going after. He doesn't "have enough stashed away". He is the head of the Cult of Power and Greed- there is never enough money or power for him.

The cult launched its campaign to infiltrate India in 2000. Two of its main means are the Vuture Ministers and celebrities.

First they send the VM's around on "good will" tours where they have "Cavalcades" continually circulating through the country on a yearly schedule. These are a "loss leader". Their aim is not making money initially, it is to gain an image of respectability and then lure people into the cult.

The VM's are particularly insidious because they claim anyone of any religion can be a VM and learn "touch assists" and all the rest of the VM hokum.

Celebrities: The cult has set up a special plan to infiltrate Bollywood and are succeeding in recruiting Bollywood stars.
