    It indicates that even some mental health professionals can be duped and suckered by scam groups. If he recommended The Forum to me as a patient, I would have reported him to the state licensing board/provincial college of physicians for possible malpractice.

  2. I am in complete agreement with you, EST and Forum are very different than Scientology. The EST and Forum training are not something for someone to believe in and obey by. It is a way/ a method to observe ourselves and others in order to experience breakthroughs and break away from old unhealthy emotional patterns. It changed me for the better and I never look back. Much gratitude to Werner Erhard for his courage and clarity to put the work out there for whoever is ready to experience the breakthroughs and break away from co-dependency.

    EST/The Forum/Landmark Education is a scientology spin-off group. John Rosenberg, who changed his name to Werner Erhard, was a scientologist. True that they don't pretend to be a religion like scientology.
