Kinda odd, something similar happened to us at our last protest, no cops involved though. Basically some guy claiming to live next door to the local mission came out and complained about cars honking, claiming he was trying to sleep (even though we watched this guy putter around the property for about an hour before this, i thought he was doing it as an excuse to keep an eye on us).

We were nice to him, and took down our signs that said "honk", even though we knew it was useless. Cars stilled honked....thats just what people driving by do when they see something they like. Even if the guy was telling us the truth...i really didnt feel all that sorry for him, i mean he lives like 25 feet from a 4 lane highway...i dont see how he ever expected to get any sleep.

Strange that they would arrest anons for holding up a sign that said "honk", and not go after the people who honked as well.

But oh well, seems like just another BS charge the cos thought up of, that would never hold up in court. But getting people "arrested" looks like such a win though huh?

The 911 phone records should be taken as well because that would tell a lot about situation in possible court cases.

Zulas, don't worry. Everything is going to be okay. You mentioned you were young. If you are a minor, this adds a few new wrinkles.

Don't answer!!! Try not to say too much here to protect your case.

I can feel you worry coming through my screen. Calm down. Have some chocolate milk and get ready for bed.

Hey SJ anons props for standing your ground!
Someone asked why 6 patrol cars were needed. Well, 'cos the world-wide awesomeness of Anonymous has scared C of S into insane hysterical 911 exaggerations of cake-eating lulz machines. Amirite?

Because they knew the sexiness of the Pacman could not be contained by just a single squad car.

You guys will be absolutely fine. Give Graham Berry a call if you're nervous, but stand strong. Srsly, honking is an expression of free speech. This isn't even a crime, there's nothing they can do except try and scare you.

This situation can be dealt with easily. First, in order to be cited under the ordnance, the cult will have to prove it is a religion. If they say "oh look, the IRS gave them tax exempt status", you subpoena TIGTA 8-9801-0002. Unlike a FOIA request, the IRS would *HAVE* to honor a subpoena, otherwise you file federal felony civil rights charges against the TIGTA comissioner saying they are denying you your rights to a fair trial by denying you evidence.
Second, file federal felony civil rights charges (18 USC 241 and 18 USC 242)against the police officer Scilon alleging a patter of abuse and intimidating specifically to discourage protest. Then pull out the fact that the Federal 1st amendment trumps local law. Since SCOTUS only banned masks that were designed to intimidate people, unless the cult can somehow prove that a GF mask or beard was designed to scare the Scilons, then they're SOL. Video of Anons dancing to music should be presented.
You should have declined to be identified and cited your 1st amenemdnet rights. For nao, give the cult an epic footnuke. Chill, it'll be OK.
  22. Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

    Already tried that.

"You should have declined to be identified..."

Unless you have invented a time machine and can travel back in time and whisper in Zula's ear while the police are talking to him/her, keep your SHOULDS in your hat.

Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

Well they said we had to show our identities, and it's always good to do what the police ask rather than refuse and upset them.

Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

If i ever actually got arrested i always imagined i would request for the police to take me some other location before i showed them my identity. That doesnt seem like such a far out request. But...when it comes to police, i notice that it rarely ever goes how you'd expect.

Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

The video is EVIDENCE that Anon stayed cool. Good work.
  30. Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

Ok, since its been out already..

I was one of the three who was ID'd. And unlike my young counterpart here, I'm open game to Scilons gathering intel.

The cops told me that the files will go up to the DA, who will determine (or ask Scilons) if the case will go to trial, and if so trials will commence. If not, nothing happens and Scilons still keep their info of us.

As to why only us three were singled out, I can't even answer. Zulas is a youngin' so that was a waste on their part, they'll pick an OG because they just want to freak them out much more, and an older-looking Anon to have new file on. I think I've had it coming for awhile because I've always had Pacman-merch on me, easily stands me out in a group of Anons. There was a good reason I didn't change outfits, but I'll leave that subject alone from public view. Regardless, this'll probably be the last Pacman you'll see at a raid anytime past the Psych raid.

If there are anymore updates (that I am permitted to speak about), I'll update it on behalf of myself (and probably) the OP and/or Zulas. I'll seek legal advice early next week, and hopefully we'll have a better picture where things will go. Though I highly doubt they will take this to trial, they'll just nab our info and whistle a merry tune back home.

    Hey, OSA.

    Bring it the fuck on.

Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

hey guys. comin in the thread a bit late but i thought i'd make a few points and post a few questions:

    1) zulas you're fine. you're a minor so your info is seekret from the scilons. don't worry. the most they have is your face and that ain't shit unless you pass by their org on the way to wherever every day.

    2) so here's the code:

    302. (a) Every person who intentionally disturbs or disquiets any
assemblage of people met for religious worship at a tax-exempt place
of worship, by profane discourse, rude or indecent behavior, or by
any unnecessary noise, either within the place where the meeting is
held, or so near it as to disturb the order and solemnity of the
    meeting
, is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not
exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment in a
county jail for a period not exceeding one year, or by both that fine
    and imprisonment.

note the bit in bold. doesn't this say that the noise has to come FROM those being charged? they didn't honk the horn. the driver did. the driver /should/ be the one charged here right? the 'honk' sign should be covered under the first amendment. certainly it's not your fault if you have a sign that said 'go ahead and steal stuff from the store' and people actually follow the instructions.

also, wouldn't they have to prove that 1) there's a religious service going on in the building at the time, and 2) the noise was disruptive. this also means that they'd have to prove the honks can be heard in the first place from within the building and define what DB level is considered disruptive and whether or not the honks are rated that loud.

    3) all in all i don't think this will go anywhere. they have what they wanted, which was info. i doubt they will bring this to court. but since you are doxxed i might see if you can contest the initial charge and see if you can get the situation in which it was brought up made void for further incidents.

Means you are untouchable, i guess. Good thing.
    Cult's loss, Anons win.
    That kind of awesomeness.
  34. Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

Even though they can't legally acquire your info, still keep an extra lookout while on your normal routes in the next week or so. Can't hurt to be a little extra careful.

SJ you were cool and cooperative. I doubt your local cops will waste there time with this again but be ready.
    Keep us posted.
  37. Re: San Jose raid gets raided by PD

As far as video footage of the police showing up, I have a SD card from one camcorder given to me by the OP which I'll hopefully have being worked on either late late tonight (don't think I'll get much sleep anyway - AIM me for company if you'd like) or Sunday evening. I saw him with the camcorder as I was talking with police, so there may still be something there though faces will be shown. I'll have look at it very soon.
