This thread was so fappable
I did a month or 2 back to see if she was alright... No response.
Uhhhh, hunh? Whar?
You missed that reference to 'fruit pastels'????
You've been overworking. Drafting press releases and stuff. It's quite understandable.
But still, it was an especially egregious lapse of orthography. You OK?
I'm OK. At least, I think I am. What about fruit pastels?? I guess something simple is going over my head here. Are we talking about a pun between "pastels" and "pastries"???
But, WHAT COLOURS ARE THEY?
Thanks for the sweet picture! Why didn't I think of that!
Pastille: A small, flat, usually round sweet, often coated with sugar and sometimes medicated; a lozenge. Any sweet of a similar shape.
Pastel: A thick paste made from finely ground pigments mixed with a solution of gum arabic in water; a crayon made of this, used for sketching or colouring.
Just joshing, Johnny - you're stll da man. But if you ever need an assistant (spelling) grammar nazi...
Heh. You're trying to get me to say 'pastel', but I won't.
But is it one of these American English variants, Barbz? In which case, I've blown my chances of that assistant's job
No, 'pastel' refers to colors usually worn by elderly cruise ship passengers. A Pastille is a lozenge. I don't know what a lozenge is, I thought it was something to lay on in the back yard...
The secret is that "pastel" is the Spanish word for caek.
All the colours of the rainbow.
A lozenge is something you suck on and makes you feel better. Remember?
