Hello, I am doing some research and found a comment somewhere around here that David Miscavige had seen one of Stu's videos, the one featuring the sign stealing from Vicky Boyce and was "furious".

Could anyone find this for me, with as much context as possible (it is going to be printed in a newspaper, so I need to be careful).

I think the context was that it was a post on OCMB by "J. Swift."

While unsourced leak reports can be amusing, I personally take them with a grain of salt. With all the spy/counter-spy stuff going on it's near impossible to find out what is fully legitimate.

i think it's "a claim by one poster at OCMB". I don't think it's unrealistic, but it's a rumour still and there hardly is any way to confirm or disprove it.

David has been shitting himself white since the ARSCC came on board back in 1993, and he's been in a screaming, insane rage since Anonymous swelled the ranks. I haven't read anything from any of the current customers still inside Scientology about anything Stu has filmed, but insiders who are working with people outside for reform simnply note that David is getting violently worse. Stu's videos merely add to the crime boss' insane blathering.

J. Swift's posts are long on sooper sekrit info and [strike]bullshit[/strike]creative narrative and ABYSMALLY short on verifiable facts. His stuff seems to rally the troops over at OCMB... but (thank Xenu) we still set a higher bar over here.

I'm personally cutting him a little slack with the "leak" of PAC base floorplans. If that info turns out to be true and actionable, then more power to him. Until then, he's OCMB Bob to me. Propaganda, even if well-intentioned, is still propaganda (and when it's found to be just that -- is damaging to our credibility in the long run).

I, absolutely, wouldn't quote any information sourced from him as fact until you have several other (reputable and independent) folks to back it up.

Anons have really good bullshit detectors. Swift's posts have always been on "our side" -- but they've pegged my BS detector since day-one. I'd love to be proven wrong.

Don't quote it, at all, period. Unsubstantiated rumor filtered through second or third-hand sources is worthless. Throw it in there and you undermine the ENTIRE article.

When Stu phoned Flag,the woman he spoke to said she knew all about the incident.That seems strange,so maybe Miscavige out out some info about it or made them watch it.
Pure speculation on my part but something went on for them to have heard about it.

It should be noted that in a follow up call to Flag (the US Scilon HQ) by Stu the woman he spoke to (apparently some head security bod) stated that she knew exactly what incident he was talking about, clearly not wanting the actual details to be recorded in conversation with herself. Anyhow, the fact she stated that she knew about it is fairly telling, although not confirmation of diddy DM having a hissy or even being aware of reality.

Bear in mind that the phone call was BEFORE J. Swift's post. It's much more likely that it was an intelligent interpretation of the facts. Given that Flag was so aware (and so happy to admit they were aware), it's not unreasonable to think that David Miscavige actually might have taken a personal interest in the matter for whatever reason. However there's absolutely no evidence for this. It's (almost certainly) just speculation and helpful advice stamped with with a romantic sounding source name.

At some point I would appreciate some of you scanning the article and letting me know what you think - regardless of what writing ability I do or don't have, some of you really seem to know your facts about COS.

Whatever the case may be with this incident, the fact is that there are soooo many first hand reports from escapees from the Int Base which attest to Little Davey's obsession with micro-management, that it is hard to imagine that if the scilon at Flag was willing to admit to knowlege about Vicky's little sign adventure, that Davey himself didn't know about it.

Sometimes rumors do emerge from common sense.
