For the record, I don't always think AO does the right thing and is sometimes too outrageous (signs with expletives at family gatherings) but I cannot fault him for standing up and being counted.

You know that the DA doesn't just roll dice when making these decisions, right? The DA considers the evidence, the filings from the other side, how good the witnesses are, etc. etc.

There's a quite wide area between "Graham Berry dismisses cases by sheer force of personality, he is a metaphysical entity" and "Graham Berry had nothing to do with the case". And both statements are dumb, and should be treated as strawman positions.

The DA decided, but they decide based on something, and Graham Berry's legal filings and other actions in this case is part of the basis that the DA looks at.

You've got this stack of papers to help make you decide what to do with the case. Graham Berry has filed a big portion of it.

GB has also talked to the prosecutors when he's met them.

GB even filed an action asking the judge to dismiss the case on the judge's own initiative, referring to a section in statutory law which allows a judge or a prosecutor to drop a case if the case is no good. The prosecutor also reads these filings, and it seems the DA decided to do what GB asked the judge to do instead.

The decision by the DA to drop the charges is not iron clad. The DA chose to wait until the next hearing date... Monday, October 19.... to take this action. It provides the DA's office some breathing room to change their minds & they are within their rights to change their minds and continue the case if they can establish some precedent for doing so.

Graham would object. And it would be up to the judge to make the decision. Decisions are reversed all the time, for example, when there is a public outcry or new evidence is discovered.

I think Graham provided the DA confirmed evidence from the County surveyors that AO was arrested on County property and that the Scilons illegally claimed County property as their own.

Graham has not commented on the results of the surveyors & don't expect him too since he is filing civil lawsuits against the Scilons.

For reference: Gregg’s case was even lamer, but his did not get dismissed. In fact, Gregg had to settle with them.

I think Graham and AO are pretty happy about this, because the DA had said earlier that she was really looking forward to the case.

For further reference: Graham is a doll. If we were both single and he were straight, I would def be checking him out.

I wish I could find a photo of him from back in the day, when he was deposing Heber Jentzsch with Moxon there. He had the cutest mop of hair.

You seem to forget the people that like GB, Hate AO and or AGP, and ALSO get things done. It is possible to think AO is a dick and someone not to emulate while at the same time protest in their own way...one that doesn't involve get arrested a lot. AO and AGP have a history of acting before thinking situations through, which sometimes can lead to problems better left avoided.
AO should not have been attacked at GOLD, but if he waited for people to get to the attack area, he likely would NOT have been thus attacked. Nore examples if needed.

When dealing with the legal system in place in Riverside County, the track record contains an abundance of evidence, that a cult protestor should always prepare for the worst!
