Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Lira and Julie attend nearly EVERY Tuesday meeting. They also post here on a few occasions. Now get your keester down there. =)
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 LOL julie asked if she could leave the info there in case they want to sell another ordinance .
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 WOW WOW WOW. How awesome were Lirra and Julie????? That was just breathtakingly beautiful. Free speech ftw.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 This why speaking to the very corrupt Riverside County Supervisor is a futile effort.. unless a large number of actual citizens of Riverside County get off their asses and speak up (not just Lirra & Julie), the Board will stand strong in the attitude they run their own private monarchy and their critics, and anyone else opposed to the pro-cult ordinance, of being nothing more than minor nuisances. This arrogant,s elf-righteous attitude is nothing new with this Board, especially with Supervisors Tavaglione & Ashley who has long been a part of the "old boys network" in conservative Republican politics in conservative Riverside County. It is this "old boy's network" that has allowed Jeff Stone to blatantly abuse his office with county funds, deliberately lie in session to substantiate "facts" that don't exist, and to rubber stamp practically everything Jeff Stone wants. Nothing is going to change as long as Riverside County residents remain mute & apathetic to this. I commend Lirra & Julie for trying though.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Hey here's a wild idea: How about a recall election replacing some of the Republican old-boys with some Republican new-boys/girls who actually stand up for the people? I think the hardest part would be to find some good candidates to run against them. They don't necessarily have to be young of age, they just would have to be able to stand up to special interests.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 I don't know of one politician that hasn't taken advantage of a special interest group.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 I don't know of one special interest group that hasn't taken advantage of a politician.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Y'all got some interesting stuff going on in your area. I heard recently about these Inland Empire skinheads, and a group called The Christ Family. (sorry if this is a little off-topic, consider it a quick detour) What is it about you guys?
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 It could be that those guys are girls and Mz. Jeff Stone has no stones. Lirra Bishop for State Senate. Those ladies and local anons got it goin awn. Waah, waah, fucking waah Stone running away. Great ballz of Xenu! What a cheese-loving, lying, pussy, cowardly mofo Jeff Stone be!
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 ^Well, not exactly what I meant by my question, but I certainly agree with your sentiments.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Wow. I was at the meeting with the ladies this morning but unfortunately had to cut out just moments before they got to speak. Chairman Jeff Stone Scientology Shill always waits till the room clears before he allows these two dynamos to approach the podium. (Yes, Jeff. The DAIS is the place where people like you sit and spin shit and piously lie in order to serve the will of special interest groups such as the Church of Scientology. The PODIUM is where hard working defenders of the U.S. Constitution speak the truth about your disgusting ways, backed by facts and documents and...oh, you know...that little thing called THE LAW.) Stone's waiting game got the best of me today so I missed the live action. I am just now seeing the video for the first time...and frankly...I am speechless. That little prick left the room??? Wow. More when I can compose myself enough to express what a ridiculously small piece of minutia Jeff Stone will eventually become in the annals of American history.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Your opening assertion is not supported by the ensuing confusion. There being less than 20 members of the board, it is not possible for a quorum of the board to be 20. Also, your grammar's an idiot.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 So Jeff Stone decided to leave when the "public forum" opened up. Didn't want to hear what Lirra & Julie had to say. Just think about how much time he could have saved if he had excused himself from the original hearings...
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Written transcripts of each of these meetings would be Good Thing. This would make each meeting googlable (is that a word? if not, it is now) and ALL info on these meetings would be more easily available to the general voting public
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 "Searchable" works fine and doesn't reinforce the dangerous idea that one corporation should have a monopoly on helping people find information.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Point well taken. And... in order for the transcript to be complete, it should note the point in the proceedings when Jeff Stone exited.
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 It was done, until March 2008, here: Riverside Board of Supervisors 3/3/2009 8:58 AM Videos are gathered here: YouTube - mnql1's Channel Contributions could perhaps be made here: Ordinance 884 - Why We Protest Wiki
Re: Riverside BOS meeting Sept 29, 2009 Thanks! Looks like work needs to be done on all the interesting meetings since March (2009 maybe?). It's not like I'm getting any sleep right now, so I'll see what I can do to pitch in there. Complete "searchable" info is good to have online
