Your post is spot on. The cult of scientology don't care if they are considered "a whacky UFO religion". More emphasis needs to be drawn on the many tentacles the cult hides behind to recruit via. Such as NarCONon[/url:3vxizjzb], Applied Scholastics[/url:3vxizjzb], Youth For Human Rights[/url:3vxizjzb] just to name a few. Information about theRPF[/url:3vxizjzb], the Cadet Org[/url:3vxizjzb] and various other human rights abuses, criminality, suicides, deaths of a suspicious nature should be the focus. OT III has been known about for a decade. Useful and discerning information is they key. Whacky religious beliefs exist in all religions. The difference is, that scientology is no more a religion than Jedi Knights
My flier "SCIENTOLOGY A BRIEF DESCRIPTION "Make money. Make more money. Make others produce so as to make money . . . However you get them in or why, just do it." "Make sure that lots of bodies move through the shop," – L. Ron Hubbard; Scientology founder, science-fiction author, ex-convict (tax fraud), and former Opium addict. SCIENTOLOGY HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN RELIGIOUS STATUS IN THE UK. IT IS NOT A RELIGION. IT USES UNPROVEN PSEUDO-SCIENTIFIC TECHNIQUES TO PRESCRIBE DANGEROUS TREATMENTS FOR VARIOUS PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ILLNESSES. Documents written by Hubbard himself suggest he regarded Scientology as a business, not a religion. In one letter dated April 10, 1953, he says calling Scientology a religion solves "a problem of practical business," and status as a religion achieves something "more equitable...with what we've got to sell." In a 1962 official policy letter, he said "Scientology 1970 is being planned on a religious organization basis throughout the world. This will not upset in any way the usual activities of any organization. It is entirely a matter for accountants and solicitors." A Reader's Digest article of May 1980 quoted Hubbard as saying in the 1940s "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion." SCIENTOLOGISTS FABRICATE LIES TO HIDE THE TRUTH ABOUT THEIR ORGANISATION WE ARE NOT AGAINST PEOPLE BELIEVING WHAT THEY WANT TO. BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU WISH. WE ARE AGAINST THE CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY. THEIR HATRED TOWARDS NON-BELIEVERS. THEIR RIDICULE OF ITS CRITICS. THE FORCED PAYMENT INTO ITS PYRAMID SCHEME. THE DESTRUCTION OF FAMILIES. THE BELIEF THAT THEY CAN CONTROL FREE SPEECH. YOURS SINCERELY, ANONYMOUS" I'm adding a little bit extra just after "..physical and mental illnesses" before the 10th. I'm working on that. It's printed with a 85% opaque picture of the anonymous ribbon picture.
It still makes it sound as if you are against Scientology, the belief system. Perhaps if you called it the Organization of Scientology or The Scientology Corporation or something to that effect?
Fix'd Also added section cannibalised and added to from the clambake site. Final version here: http://www.mediafire.com/?6y0ymlbmz0c
I think http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/4897 ... nalch0.jpg is the best one I've seen. The way I figure it is thus. If you want to tell someone something why should they have to go look it up? You should tell them right then and there with info that will catch em. When they're interested is the only time they'll go check out a website some strangers hand them.
i agree, people are busy and most people will read it on the way to work. If we give them a flyer with websites.. most wouldnt have the time.. or most will just lose the flyer by the time they get home. I also like that one.
