In case of nuclear attack or nearby nuke catastrophe:

    1. Place hands on knees and feet apart.
    2. Bend over as far as you can.
    3. Kiss your ass goodbye.
    4. Eat the popcorn until help arrives.

wouldn't making the cult go all fallout and hiding in bunkers take care of that problem?

right now i'm more worried about finding my voice then this radiation buisness...I'll worry about the radiation when I'm glowing. If anyone has seen my voice, I really need it back.

Why am I suddenly recalling that whole "cheapest bidder" line from the movie, Armageddon?

The radiation in Japan has made it's way to the United States...via airline passengers flying in from Japan..

"A United Nations forecast of the possible movement of the radioactive plume coming from crippled Japanese reactors shows it churning across the Pacific, and touching the Aleutian Islands on Thursday before hitting Southern California late Friday."

Pffft! Hubbard couldn't even get lightspeed correct.

Anyone got some RadAway and Rad-X handy?
  23. I've visited this site. The background is typically between 5 and 28 microroentgens per hour. When I looked, I found shockingly high levels of radiation on American soil. Oh wait, that was 21 uR in the New Orleans area and 22 uR in Colorado. How close are they to teh West Coast?

I hate everyone in this thread, including myself for posting in it.

Luckily, Scientology planned ahead and made all those metal copies of Hubbard's wise words of wisdumb for preservation to eternity.

Too bad there are still those niggling errors by those darn SP transcriptionists still engraved on those metal plates and stored in titanium capsules and kept securely in vaults.

I was outside here in Bakersfield much of this week. I didn't see or smell any radiation at all.

I did watch the moon rise as the sun set, it was beautiful.

That would have been lulzy for Lawrence Wright to ask TommyDavisTommyDavis about.

"So are those copies of Hubbard's work which are hidden away in the mountains of New Mexico copies of the original erroneous texts, or copies of the new corrected texts?"

It's about time you lecture us on how safe we are. I wish you had done that before the unremarkable measurements in background radiation were widely reported in the news.

If DM weren't so niggardly those plates would have been desquirreled by now.

careful, you'll get fired for saying niggardly

  35. No, niggardly is a completely acceptable and non-racist word... most people just have no clue what it means and rather than looking it up, use their hooked on phonics education to associate it with the only word it sounds like.
    /sniggers -.- (It's a word, don't start with me either)
