We'll see if it is tomorrow. Page 10 of Metro. Unfortunately, that's the religion page. Inb4 "Scientology is not a religion".

Is that where the girth of the article will run, or the whole thing? Will we at least get a spot on the front page of metro?

Unknown whether we'll get a blurb on the front page of Metro. Melissa said that it was more than six hundred words, so I don't know if this is the whole article or not. Either way, a Win. A palpable win.

Gee, didn't know that it was Karin Pouw who wrote the response. Hi, Karin. Melissa told me that you read this site "religiously" (her words). Any indication on what decade your husband will be released from the RPF?

Another link / web-blurb is up on the Tribune web site along with a comments section which is open to all.

    Article:

    Who's who in this face-off -- chicagotribune.com

    Comments section:

    Who's who in this face-off - Topix

The comment cherry was broken by the following:

I would like to thank the Chicago Tribune and its reporting staff for a fair and balanced article regarding the ongoing activism efforts of the "group" known as Anonymous. As you can well imagine, I am extremely flattered that they named the group after me.

I would like to take a moment to thank the Academy and to encourage readers to search the Internet for further information on this important matter. Critical thinking and opening one's eyes are all it takes to show what is really going on.

    To the 'church' of $cientology...

On behalf of myself and all the Chicago Tribune editors who worked on this story, I would like to thank you for your cooperation. I hope you found the coverage fair--which is the only real gauge of "win," as fair as I'm concerned.

I leave with you a few images I think you'll enjoy.

    Sincerely,
    Melissa Patterson

    Lolcats? Oh, boy...

You know, I'm feeling really, really guilty right now. Thanks to us, and more specifically me, Melissa now knows about ED, lolcats, goatse, Rule 34, etc. And did it in the pursuit of her job, no less. She's the brave one here. As I told you, Melissa, what is seen cannot be unseen. Hopefully you haven't crossed the event horizon yet and can break the hold of the singularity.

Well, if we see a header in Metro reading "Taste of Chicago: Needs Moar Pooper", we'll know you're one of us now.

Let's hope she didn't stay long enough in the *chans to turn into a /b/tard lol or else we'll never get another article...

Who can save me a print copy? I want one. Will consider trade for an original Times Article.

^^^ I know the answer, but it's covered under reporter/source confidentiality. You'll need to get a court order to find out.

Re: Questions for Chicago Tribune story

I will consider trade for my first born son (not so great a deal as it sounds).

Also Patterson, those are now my two favorite lolcats.

Keep up with the story. When we write you an ending it could be a book.

    Thanks.

Thank you for using Enturbulation forums.

I hope you enjoyed your drama, obscure porn, nerd rage, accusations of being OSA, random shoops, and communication difficulties due to memes. Please come again.

    Thanks for delivering.
