Cmon people... So far as I know we dont even have a date set yet for the protest and the time is near... It would be cool if all the argentinian anons show some more activity here these days... Dont fall asleep.

Vamos gente... Por lo que se no tenemos ni una fecha definida todavia para la protesta y el momento esta cerca... Estaria bueno si los anons argentinos mostraran un poco mas de actividad estos dias... no se duerman.

Los que pasen por acá dejen un post diciendo si vienen, así vemos más o menos cuántos somos.

Ah, tenemos que llevar torta porque festejamos el cumple de nuestro amigo LRH!

La idea de esta "protesta" es que sea un festejo.
Cuánto más ridículos, divertidos, copados con la gente y payasos seamos mejor llegada vamos a tener.
Lo que se ve mucho en otros países es que interactúan con la gente, los hacen bailar, les dan torta, y la gente se engancha y empieza a preguntar... y así, despacito y con mucha buena onda es como vamos a informar a la gente lo que pasa.

Remarcan en todos lados, NO violencia, NO armas, NO acciones ilegales, ergo, NO caigan drogados che, NO caigan borrachos, NO romper nada, No molestar a la gente... en fin, usen el sentido común.
Podemos hacer de todo mientras se trate de representar un festejo de cumpleaños de alguien querido, y es como que vamos a la puerta de su casa con torta y cornetitas y caretas y payasos. El que quiera y pueda lleve carteles que digan cosas como "CULTO" "SECTA" "ASESINOS".
Todo bien amarillista onda Crónica, además contrasta y eso pega más fuerte
Qué bueno, va a ser digno de una peli de Kusturica... VAMOS!! CÓPENSE!!!

De paso, si alguien tiene contacto con algún medio de comunicación, por favor consigan un movil ajjaja.

No importa si quedamos ridículos o no, necesitamos que la gente empiece a HABLAR de esto. Cuando empiezan a hablar, algunos después piensan... y a esos apuntamos.

Pero entrémosles con humor y buena onda.

Vamos a rockear en el centro de Ayacucho 1050 a partir de las 15 hs.

Tenemos a dos cuadras la UBA (que podemos usar para cambiarnos y despistar al que intente seguirnos), la plaza Houssay y la estación de subte de la facultad de medicina.
Además estamos muy cerca de Santa Fe, en esa esquina tenemos un Burger King y hay un Mc Donalds en frente, también sirven para perderse entre la gente.

Two blocks away we have public universities with unrestricted entrance, a big park and a subway.
There is also a Burger King and a Mc Donalds we can use to disperse and confuse if we have any tails.

Como las veredas por ahí son tan angostas, qué les parece si, una vez vestidos para la ocasión en el lugar que cada uno prefiera, nos encontramos en la plaza Houssay para hacer la "previa", cerramos algunos detalles que queden colgados, nos organizamos, y vamos para el centro de la Co$.

Since the sidewalk there is narrow I suggest that once we are all set for the occasion
we can meet at the park and there we discuss last moment's issues. We will be already wearing costumes and masks so we will be safe and people will not care if they see us in a park like that.

Hey everybody, I tried to reach Lizzy all day yesterday without luck, because since the beginning of the argentinian threads we agreed to meet at 14 hs (2 PM) but she posted 15 hs now (3 PM). Now she emailed me asking me to decide and fix it...
All I can do is to say "Lets vote", thinking that it will be bad that some ppl will arrive 2pm to ayacucho and others at 3 pm to the park to start the arrangements...
We could avoid this with a lil bit more of chat, less unnecesary hurry and more time, thats my opinion...
Lets hope everything is gonna be alright, but yeah, im kinda frustrated and angry... enturbulated?

Hola a todos. Trate de ubicar a Lizzy todo el dia de ayer sin suerte, porque desde el comienzo de los threads argentinos acordamos juntarnos a las 14 hs (2 PM), pero ella posteo 15 hs ahora (2 PM). Ahora ella me maileo pidiendome decidir y arreglarlo.
Todo lo que puedo hacer es decir "votemos", pensando que seria malo que alguna gente llegue a las 2 pm a Ayacucho y otros a las 3 pm a la plaza para empezar a hacer los preparativos...
Pudimos haber evitado esto con un poco mas de charla, menos apuro innecesario y mas tiempo, esa es mi opinion...
Esperemos que todo vaya a salir bien, pero si, digamos que estoy frustrado y enojado... ¿Enturbulado?

I´m thinking of catch them by surprise, do a little recognizance first, if we just go to ayacucho we will blow the surprise element.

estaba pensando en hacer un pequeño reconocimiento primero y no mandarnos de una a ayacucho perdiendo el elemento sorpresa.

As regards Saturday, let's gather at 14 hs. and I agree that the park will be much better.
We will be able to check if the Scilons are "preparing" for our visit, how, and see how to proceed.

Speaking for myself, I don't have any previous experience in this and it's the first time I feel brave enough to do a thing like this on my own, because I will not be going with any kind of back up or friends and I really believe in taking care of myself.
I will not run blindly into Scilon's hands, I rather be careful and study the situation for however long it takes.

No voy a mandarme corriendo a las garras de los Scilons, prefiero tomarme el tiempo que sea necesario y las medidas que sean necesarias para estudiar la situación.

Police here actually hit you and trample over our civil rights.
They even kill people in demonstrations. Authority here is know to violate all our rights and nobody will move a finger to help us if the Scilons want to infiltrate the group with a few hired trouble-makers in order to justify violence.
It has been done before, we see it on the news every time... so we should not underestimate the danger we are putting ourselves into.
We know we will not be violent, but how can Scilons or police or people in the street be sure of that?

La policía argentina golpea a los protestantes y no respeta nuestros derechos civiles.
Incluso matan gente en las manifestaciones. Se sabe que acá la autoridad viola todos nuestros derechos y nadie va a mover un dedo para ayudarnos si los Scilons meten un grupo de gente violenta, contratada, que arme quilombo y así justificar la intervención de la policía.
Sabemos que esto es algo que se hace todo el tiempo en casi todas las manifestaciones que terminan en violencia, lo vemos en la televisión todo el tiempo, así que no deberíamos subestimar el riesgo al que nos estamos exponiendo.
Nosotros sabemos que no vamos a hacer nada violento, pero ¿cómo pueden estar seguros de eso los Scilons, los policías o la gente que pase caminando por ahí?

We must remember none of us here actually know each other and frankly, Petete's reaction is a bit violent and I hope by Saturday he will be more relaxed.

Since I proposed the day and time it was always 15 hs.

Why was my previous post reported and removed? It wasnt a bad post, It was long and I was just too tired after the first Argentinian protest that I organized 50 % to put it in different paragraphs, but I wrote it in two languages to share it with everyone in the forum and let them know the good news.
I would love to get an answer from a mod around here, I contacted Tinydancer by PM because it was the only one online I saw and Im waiting for a response.
REmoving such a comment just because the stupid reasons I can think of sounds really selfish and.... seems to be an osa boicott in my opinion. I would like to know who watch to prevent this kind of actions. And btw, I will post my comment again as I did in other thread without getting it removed.
I hope somebody watch and take care of the good people in this place...
We are doing the job that nobody else does around here.
