Project: Where The Hell Is Anonymous? Previously discussed in this thread. Project "Where The Hell Is Anonymous?" is based off of the widely popular Where The Hell Is Matt videos. The idea is to have anons from around the world videotape themselves dancing in front of local landmarks, stress test tables, the local org, etc. It's best if you're in front of an easily-identifiable landmark, but it's up to you. Email your videos to pfd.pdf[at]gmail.com. The end result will be something along these lines: YouTube - Where the Hell is Matt? Guidelines: 1. Guy Fawkes masks only 2. Please make sure you're doing the Matt jig 3. Don't do any editing. Post raw footage only. 4. Please make your clips a minimum of 10 seconds long. We will trim it down in editing. OH BY THE WAY: Don't be afraid to give your clips a humorous or skit-like intro/outro. Mix it up a little! Just make sure it includes 10 seconds of dancing. Birmingham, Alabama (the closest major city with recognizable landmarks). I *might*, if I'm incredibly bored, find some landmark or city hall in Huntsville or Montgomery (like the flea market). But no promises. ... except I'll wear a mask *and* clothes.

The only concern I have is that it's decent enough quality to begin with so I rather not have to rip stuff from youtube accounts

I sadly don't have a guy fawkes mask and they don't sell them where I live, however if we have a bit of time, in november, anons from other cities are coming as /b/lackup for a raid there, maybe we could film it with proper mask on then. All depends on how much time we have! So, until when?

I'll be editing as I get the clips, so will see how many videos I have in the next few weeks and what song we end up going with to see how much time I got to pack them all into. Then aim to get it completed and online by the end of November is my current plan.

I can probably edit the dancing to it, though the route I'd probably do is making the cuts change throughout the video so the pace is consistent with the track. That means the clips wouldn't be equal lengths like in Matt's... would we still capture the whole 'vibe' that Matt's got then or would it even up looking too different that the first impression of 'omg it's that matt vid but anons!' be lost? I dunno, I tired, I just woke up so help me out XD Otherwise, for those parts in the track we'd have to alter the Matt jig maybe and I don't think we should be doing that + ugh too much of a pain anyways.

If you can get your hands on a copy of "First Breath After Coma" by Explosions in the Sky (first track of The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place), that'd work great as a soundtrack, since it has that big grand uplifting feel. ("Your Hand In Mine" from the same album was used in Pelvidar's "Road To February 10" video.)

This woman (http://www.myspace.com/maggiecouncil) wrote this song about Anonymous: YouTube - "Picket Dancing" by Maggie Council (song starts in about 40 seconds or so) I'm sure she'd give us permission to use it and then we don't have to worry about posting the video on YouTube and the scilons trying to take it down for copyright infringement for the song we use (cause we all know how they like to try and claim things for themselves that don't even remotely belong to them). I'd also recommend that EVERY city send in a written permission to PFD for the use of their video footage, just to cover asses that way too.

Your emailing me a file and I'd assume you'd add a subject line/blurb referring to it's use and referring to this thread so logic would say that in itself is kind of permission. The only time it would really get messy if your an anon that lives in one of those places where they're all NOOOOOOOO you can't film local landmarks etc and that sort of weird stuff.

I ask specially in this case because the Southbay in CA have a lot of Orgs and landmarks to choose from, and if we wanted to hit up multiple places it would require more video/space.
