When dealing with groups of people involved in high risk behaviours, alcoholism, drug addiction, gangs etc. Is extreme types of failure and death not to be expected if not guaranteed?? Certain addicts and alcoholics I have observed were beyond help and are going to die fast or slow deaths no matter what anyone did. How is any group who is crazy enough to endeavour to help this group of high risk people not going to be exposing themselves to extreme liability. Should we all just stick our nose out of it and not try to help? Myself, I walk away from anyone abusing alcohol or drugs or involved in gangs. I have a very harsh and non-ncompassionate view of these high risk group. Sober people are hard enough to deal with, I cannot afford to have my life dragged down by a person with any of those circumstances. Maybe that makes me a bad person. I do wish them well but have no fantasies that I can somehow rescue a person caught alcohol or drug dependency or street gang behaviour. What are AA's failure and deaths rates and how do they compare to Narcanons? Has anyone collected these statistics? Also, why has law enforcement not made arrests if Narcanon caused people's deaths?
