    From WWP -
Prescott Middle School did not make AYP in 2008. Under No Child Left Behind, a school makes Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) if it achieves the minimum levels of improvement determined by the state of Louisiana in terms of student performance and other accountability measures. See Prescott Middle School's test results to learn more about school performance.

  2. I live in Baton Rouge, and I can assure you that the public school system here is atrocious. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Baton Rouge has a larger number of Parochial school students than most other cities in the south, partly because of Louisiana's Catholic heritage, but also largely because the public schools are horrid. The fact that this school failed the AYP standards may not actually have anything to do with Scientology, and everything to do with the fact that our state is a third world country where if you're not rich enough to send your kids to a private school, you can expect them to get a shitty education.

    However, the correlation is interesting.
