Im glad to see some Iranian people here thanking us for our support. Im not saying this to say anything like "we deserve to be thanked". Its hard when we're all far away from your struggle and are passionate about defending freedom, and we cant see a response. Its hard to know if our limited effort is having an effect. I guess im just glad to know that we are not useless and you are benefiting from our small contributions. You have shown the world how brave you all are, and that the voices of few, do not represent an entire people. Peace

    Stand strong! Dont give up!

The courage of the Iranian protesters makes me feel very small and humble.

My thoughts are with you, your friends and families.

I wish I could say more, but I'm lacking the words that would do justice to what you are going through.

  3. To the protesters of Iran:

Hey. I've watched this story from a distance, and I envy your strength. Though I can't do anything really useful, I send enormous good vibes in your direction. Just know you have all our support. <3

    Dear Iranian Freedom Fighters,

I agree with Joel. I send my love and prayers for the success of your mission. It is time for Iranians to be free and and have free and fair elections and no dictatorship.

    You deserve it!

    Canadians support your struggle,

  7. From the USA...

In time of great need, comes great courage.

I commend all of you who are standing up for what you believe.

It reminds me of the struggle of America against the British crown in the war of independence. People risked their lives for what they believed in. As you are doing now. Whether we agree or disagree when it comes to policy and politics, this struggle is similar to the history of my nation.

I hope you all get what you wish for your nation.

    My prayers are with you.

Be safe. Be strong. Fight for what you believe in. There will come a time when your grandchildren will honor your bravery and sacrifice.

Good luck and be safe everybody. My prayers are with you.
  9. Love

Have sat here crying since day one of this. Lots of passion. Lots of anger. Lots of sadness. But I do not post. I cannot offer words encouraging rebellion against the theocracy because it is not my life in danger.

But I feel your pain. I watch you beaten. I watch you die. And I cry with you, and I mourn with you. God willing you will receive your freedom without anymore bloodshed. I have never been more aware of my freedom that I used to take for granted.

You are not alone, and we are with you in spirit.

  10. Keep fighting

All the best Iran. I want to visit your country after you have liberated it from a mock democracy.

The world is watching and holding it's breath for you. We love you Iran!
  11. Best wishes from Antarctica

Best wishes for all the people of Iran who have peacefully stood up for their rights.

Your actions have been noted, even as far as the White Continent.

I wore green today at our mid-winter celebration in honor of the people of Iran.

    Salaam 'Alaykum

Whatever happens in the upcoming events, it will give a chance for the best of both cultures to shine out instead of the worst.
  15. "Iran protesters to defy supreme leader's warning"

My title is from the CNN news headline, you really are making the world stand still.
You are showing polotics what it was MADE for, to give THE PEOPLE a voice.
Keep going, and peace be with you. May it end in your favour.

Not sleeping tonight to follow this live.
This is the most inspiring thing I've ever had the privilege to observe. I have a feeling that I've only ever felt when reading first-person accounts of the D-day invasion.

I know exactly how you feel. This is something important. Living breathing proof that the government will never be able to stop the people because the people wont let it.
  19. Its not the time for sarcasm or micrological animosities!

At this moment millions of Iranian citizens are preparing to
    come together

For probably the most important manifest of their will in
    younger history.

My prays and hopes are with them!

In Europe we have liberate us from cleric claim to power also only little more than 100 years ago.

    Yes you can also!

Long live the free will of iranian citizens!
  20. Well wishes

My brothers and sisters, hamvatans, i wish you the very best in your struggle for freedom!
    You have my support!!
  21. Free Iran and freedom to iranian people

  22. Good Luck!

Luck to all of you in the streets of Tehran. Free Iran!
  23. Be strong!

    In the words of Gandhi:

First, they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

So go ahead, be strong in your resolve to be heard. The world is watching.

  24. God Is With You

Remember...God gave us our voice to protest injustice. Those trying to silence it are not Godly but have twisted "Godliness" in an attempt bring power to themselves. This is a great sin and an insult to God! It is the danger of theocracies in general. Stay safe!
  25. The USA is Green for you!

We are green for you! The USA loves you! Revolutions only start when things are getting better in some respects, so this is very encouraging!
  26. Keep on keeping on!

Best wishes and love from the younger generation in Alaska USA.
    Yur doin' it rite!
  27. Prayers for justice

While I'm in the US, my Iranian fiance is in London--wishing he were in Tehran to be with his brothers and sisters demonstrating in the streets--and all I can do is pray for peace and justice for the STRONG people of Iran. I continue to be in awe of their resilience, courage, faith and amazing strength. Their actions bring tears to my eyes. Good bless the Iranian demonstrators risking their lives for freedom and justice!

I went to my grandparents' home to talk about what's happening and ask them for a few words. My grandfather told me this:

He remarked on "the suffering those people are going through... there is a big crowd.

"In my country [Puerto Rico] they had something similar." He described that a there was a big demonstration in one of the main squares. "The Americans ordered the police to shoot. This was a black incident. The Ponce Massacre. Being as those people were indiscriminately murdered there. When you kill someone you're not hurting that person, you're hurting their whole family. You're not human if you don't feel for that. When I was a kid, 10 or 12 years old, the country was in an uproar. I lived through that."

"That's the feeling I have. So I know what they're going through. Not the activists, the population as a whole. I wish I could help in other ways, that's the only way I can convey to them: their pain is my pain. I'm not a rich man, I'm an old guy from the 1900s."

"Not everyone has a mask. The government is taking pictures. You have to give these people a lot of credit. They have a lot of courage."
  29. I am an American Christian, and I can't help but support you people weary for justice in Iran. You are people of the book, and I have prayed and will continually pray for you in your struggle. To you:

If we could be there in the streets with you, you know we would be. The hearts of the world ache with yours as we see what you have endured for so long. With every fiber of our being, we support you, and we will try to aid you in every way we can. I once heard it said that it is governments that divide, not people, and perhaps this is true now. Americans and Iranians are no so different from each other; at the very least, most Americans hope that we possess the courage and strength of spirit that our Iranian brothers and sisters show.

Good luck, and God bless you, Iran.
  30. Take this moment in history and grasp it for all it's worth!

You are the heros of tomorrow, and hold the light to a better world.

I can only of hopped to be there to help, I look forward to the new Iranian government.
  31. To the Couragous People of Iran... May blessings follow you; My thoughts and spirit are with you.... Praying you will find True Freedom and that one day the people of Iran will be heard.
We Are With You... We Wish you Peace.

  33. SILENCE, MY SISTER (a commemorative poem)

For every secret sealed in flame,
Each grief engraved without a name,
I'll summon tender truths from shame,
    With tears my talisman.

I'll shred the shroud of disbelief
    And scatter ashes of relief,
Then weave these words into a wreath
    No season can upbraid.

I'll lift the earth into the sky
    So fallen stars again will rise;
Your suffering is my battle cry--
    You did not die alone.

For the first time in a long while, the media in the UK has given the sense that Iranian people aren't backward terrorists. Please forgive the people of the West for the prejudices of our power-wielders and for our lack of ability to challenge them.

But hearing everything going on these past few weeks, Iran inspires me. That there are people in this world who seek peace, justice, fairness for all, freedom. And it humbles me.

Please don't stop fighting for your freedoms - Keep on striving for what you believe in. And whenever they beat you down, tell you to sit down, shut up, when they threaten your loved ones with violence, hold fast - never forget that the little things matter. To think. To dream. To love. To desire. Not only are they all revolutionary tenets that defy those who seek to consolidate their power, but they are tenets that lie within each and every Iranian. And you are all so brave for acting them out. Don't be discouraged. Do believe.

I wish the best for you all, in democracy, in health and in all futures of the Iranian people.

    With greatest respect and wishes,
    Tom, UK.
