Here is a new thread for voicing support to the Iranian people. Please keep away from politics. As a denizen of internet I would like to say that my thoughts are with you. Be safe Iran.
Good Luck IRAN This is to the Protesters in Iran. TO the fighters who wish to see there country change, to become a better place to live in with equal rights for all.. I wish you all luck from the USA.
A simple message from a simple man To the people of Iran, despite whatever differences there are between us, be it language, religion, culture or what have you, we are all human. We are all one, and we ALL deserve "...certain inalienable rights...". Some of us have them, some are letting them go, some are being denied them, some are fighting for them, and some of us are dying for them. While I sit here safely in my Northwest home watching history from a distance,I feel petty and small, beside you. I do not envy you the pain and sacrifice that you are making. And though I can count the number of times I have prayed in my 41 years on one hand... I pray for the people of Iran and thier safety. I ask whatever divine spirit thier may be to protect you and deliver you through this trial. Godspeed.
May God be with you as your fight for your freedom. Stay strong, stay safe. Do not waver. My prayers have been and will continue to be with you
let freedom ring "Civilizations flourish the most where the masses are passionate about their liberties." - Gary Gross We are all with you. May God bless your freedom struggle. --- Chicago student
Keep it up! I'm with all you guys out there! Keep up the peaceful protests! Try not to get sucked into violence and be safe everyone! This 17 year old from Sacramento, CA will be with you all in spirit!
Best of luck May these events be remembered in Iranian history for all time as the moment things changed for the better.
We're with you Those of us in the rest of the world that believe in the freedom you seek are with you.
Never Forget "All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same inalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary."
With love from Connecticut, USA I know we have different cultures and beliefs and hopes for the future, but one thing is the same - we believe in truth and justice. I am so honored to witness your struggle. You in Iran are so brave. You inspire me. I'm so sorry for your pain. All I can do over here is pray for you and hope you get the justice you deserve. Be safe. Be brave. Keep loving each other. I don't know what else to say. My heart is breaking for those who are hurt and dying. I am a world away, but I want goodness for you. Please be safe. Please don't give up. Take heart. No fear.
to all the iranians who are risking their lives for freedom: Please dont give up, we in canada have been watching you everyday and are praying for your safty and your victory over the dictator government that is currently there. You must fight with all you got to free your country and we will do all we can to push our governments to support you in any way that they can. We may not be iranians and we may not speak your language or have your culture. But we are humans and we feel your pain. DO NOT consider yourself alone in your struggle for freedom. WE ARE WITH YOU. your friends in canada.
I would like to wish the Iranian people well on their quest for democracy and hope that all of the middle east follows your example. عمال العالم للتوحد!
Solidarity! From Newfoundland, Canada I have been watching Iran for several weeks. The lead up to the election and this unprecedented uprising against obviously false results is an inspiration to all people who value democracy, freedom and human rights. I want to express my sincerest well-wishes and solidarity to any Iranians reading this, be they in the streets or abroad. Hold fast, your fight is seen, your voice will not be silenced.
To any Iranians who are actually reading this. I want all of you to know what an inspiration you are right now to us in America. We sit on our ass and let our government step on us unwilling to risk any thing because things haven't gotten bad enough. As an American, I'd like you all to know I see in you what I wish American was more like. People risking them selves for a better future.
Surgite! Push on! Don't give up on the change you seek! The people of Canada are humbled by your perseverance and determination! There is a whole world of supporters out there that is cheering for you! And this student from Canada is too! Remember: "Nothing is so unworthy of a civilized nation as allowing itself to be governed without opposition by an irresponsible clique that has yielded to base instinct." -Die Weie Rose
Its not about the votes. First of all you dont know anything about these dictators. The president of Iran is selected by the supreme leader and not the people. The Iranians leaked some info on the web a few days before the election that two high officials had a talk and they clearly stated that " this election is just a show" That the supreme leader only wants Ahmadinejad to be the president again. If 61 % of Iranians voted for ahmadinejad then where the hell are they now??? all over the country there are unrest and protests. Only a fool like you would believe this to be a fair election. Besides i dont even think Iranian people want these Muslim dictators ruling them anymore, The Iranians want a regime change, a democracy. so they can be free. Iran was once the center of life, knowledge and technology and most of all equality. The iranians are fighting for that once agian. If you cant understand that then dont come here at all, This site is for the support of freedom of Iranians, not for your stupidity. So go elsewhere. YOU are probably a muslim follower of ahmadinejad who spies on the Iranians abroad. I dont know any Iranians outside of Iran that call ahmadinejad "Dr. Ahmadinejad " lol. To the Brave Iranians who are fighting to overthrow this dictator government; May you be victorious in your fight for freedom. We the people of Canada are with you.
We are with you! Iowa City, IA, USA Another student in support. The sort of oppression the government and organizations like the Basij are engaging in is unacceptable, to greatly understate it. All I can really say is that we're watching, and with you in spirit. You can do this if you stay together. I and a lot of other people are pulling for your safety and success, and are spreading the word. Hang in there.
Well Wisher from America Protesters: This is your time. Fight peacefully for your inalienable rights. Be safe. Best of luck.
I am completely amazed by your bravery and conviction. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and we are committed to helping in whatever way that we can. Stay safe! "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"
To the freedom fighters of iran The free people of the world are supporting you and praying for your victory
Moral support That's all I can do and it makes me feel small. People in the streets of Teheran, you are writing history, fighting to defend your ideas, your way of life. Hang in there. Nobody can tell you how to live your life. The images of Police and Basij beating their own, unarmed fellow countrymen make me sick.
Teocratical societys sucks BIG time !!!!! All my very best wishes to all of the Persian PPL. !!!!!!! (Except for the Mullahs, that is ....)
Support from Oregon The peaceful protesters are an inspiration to us all- Keep up the good work and I hope you come to a resolution soon. Portland, Oregon, USA
Iran will be free! Best of luck from an Australian to all the courageous protesters in Iran. Iran isn't the Supreme Leader, the President, the clerics, or the military. Iran is you, the people. All the people of Iran should have a voice in determining your nation's destiny. Know that myself and countless others wish you all the best for a successful regime change and hope that you and your descendants will thrive in a free and democratic Iran where no one will need fear censorship, persecution and brutality. It doesn't matter to me if you are Muslims, traditional Persians or anything else. All that matters it that you are all fellow human beings who deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and compassion. Good luck, and if there is anything I can do to help, just ask.
Keep Up the Good Fight! I can only send good wishes to the good citizens of Iran. Keep on fighting for what should be rightfully yours.
You can do it. The human will is something so strong that it enables us to do anything that we feel strongly about. We are alone when we come into this world, and we are alone again when we die, so all a human can do is stand beside his fellow man when the time comes and do what is right. You all are doing it. The world is watching your bravery and nobility. I hope you persevere and prosper like I know you all will. I feel helpless here in America. Watching someone struggle. I feel as if our own government can't do anything to help, or won't for fear of "looking badly".
