Yes, we're supposed to be pirates. However, we're pirates with the law on our side, and that makes us privateers. As such, I've adapted the text of an actual Letter of Marque (the big difference-maker: privateers had them and thus had legal authorization, pirates didn't) from the War of 1812. Apologies to the Britfags, and you can adapt to your local conditions at your heart's content:

To all who shall see these presents, Greetings. We are Anonymous:

Put it in an appropriate font, add an Anon "wax seal" at the bottom and a signature, and we'll be good to go. I'll leave it to the artfags to do a better job than I could do.

(BTW: If you think this is tl;dr, you should see the Letters of Marque from the 15th, 16th, and 18th Centuries. They were impossible to adapt.)

I got some Scientology job applications. You guys should see them, they ask you if you're connected to government or intelligence agencies through any familial connection, if you've ever sold drugs (to who, what, when, and where), if you've ever committed a felony for which you weren't caught, and they even have multiple questions about if you've ever received electric shock therapy, insulin shock therapy, other brain therapy, psychiatric therapy, etc. Should I bring some to the protest?

You know what this reminds me of? Bullshit forms which are sent around to 419 scammers. In fact I think the scam baiters should start pretending to recruit the lads into scientology staff. :grin:

I'm hoping to work a new association in. The fliers I'm doing now mention nothing about religion, and I don't think I'm ever going to use that term again. It would sound more graceful yes, but I'm hoping to add a subtle influence by switching out that 'first word spot' with Org instead of Church. Too much Psych 101 alert?
