Service Outline
Street trading means selling, exposing or offering for sale, any article in a street. Street also includes areas to which the public have access without payment such as car parks. There are two types of street trading permits issued by Manchester City Council
Street trading licences to trade within the city centre
Street trading consents to trade within the city of Manchester but outside the city centre boundaries
Street Trading Licences
The City Council has adopted the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 to regulate street trading throughout the city.

Within the city centre there are several areas where street trading is prohibited, these being:

New Cathedral Street
St Ann's Square / Exchange Street
Exchange Square
King Street (pedestrian area)
Market Street
Piccadilly
St Mary's Gate
Millennium Quarter
No trading can take place in these streets.

STC's work leaking information and putting into the public domain identities of all scientologists in the UK is impressive.

A list of all companies in the uk who have scientology connections of any sort would be good so they can be boycotted- not just WISE listed - anyone who supports, facilitates or allows open promotion of the cult.

It might be easy to get companies where the boss is a scilon and openly promotes it. However individual scilons working in the real world would be difficult to find out. If we knew who they worked for, what could we do with the information ??

If they just happen to be a Scientologist, not promoting it at work, I don't think we need to "do anything" with the information really, I don't see any benefit to us by picketing or otherwise harrassing the workplaces of people any more than it would appropriate to do so their homes.

Expose scilon run and operated companies - like M J Kloss Decorating, for example - but I don't think we need to stoop as low as they do in these things.

Yeah, I might be a bit of a moralfag. Deal with it.

Was thinking more of any companies that allow the Jive Arses to hand out leaflets, any hotel or venue that allows CCHR industry of death exhibits (Thistle hotel, Brighton for example), any interfaith group (Westminster) or council (Harringey) that allows scilons a voice or place on a committee, any political party that allows them a stand (have I missed anything?).

Scientology operates through being clandestine and not disclosing their full agenda. Any organisation allowing them to recruit or promote is either uninformed or knowingly assisting them. They should be informed, then if they continue to assist the cult they should be named publicly on a list so people know everywhere scientology is operating and can choose to financially boycott anyone helping them.

Add to that list any doctors, psychologists or academics that are used by CCHR to promote scientology.
