i'm learning gimp, so far i like it better than PScs5. btw, can anyone tell me why i'm having trouble posting anything here with firefox? i had to come here with rekong to post. special settings for firefox? do i have a bug maybe?
You posted the wrong image URL the first time, so it didn't work.
Then you posted the right URL, so it did work.
Not really a Firefox thing.
i figured that out, but, i couldn't even post a message, i would click on post reply and i would get a little progress bar for a split second in the upper right of the window and then nothing. i could click post twenty times and nothing would work. i had the same problem last time i tried to post here. i have java enabled but i don't have the iced tea java plugin installed. i'm not really a techie but i know that iced tea was exposing my wlan ip so i got rid of it.
Los Altos native pepper-sprayed at UC Davis protests
wow, it's amazing how the same set of events can be portrayed so differently by different media outlets. is the media actually doing anything good? it seems that people just pick the outlet that presents news the way they want to see it. what ever happened to presenting the news as it happened without the bias? if you are a right wing teabagger with an imaginary friend you watch bill o'reilly and if you are a democrat and free thinker you tend to favor keith olbermann. are any of them telling it the way it is without the bias?
well, can you name someone without bias?...
this is true
of course, he's dead
i liked walter
It is not an excuse to abandon journalistic standards and pander to biases. The skill of a journalist is revealed in her ability to report as objectively as possible and to manage her personal biases.
this is also true
the article in the above link to the examiner was ridiculous.
btw, there was something up with my browser. i downloaded FF7.0.1 and run it right out of the extracted file without installing it in kde and i'm having no more problems. i was using FF8 and something wasn't right with it. noscript wasn't working right.
There's a big difference between a journalist with bias and a full-fledged propagandist. That examiner article was clearly written by a propagandist.
Does that mean LRH is no longer biased either?
When I get the time (...and effort...and motivation...) I am going to dub GLaDOS singing her praises about Deadly Neurotoxin in the video of PSC.
Sometimes, bias is awesome. Hunter S Thompson.
No, but his damn ugly-assed ghost is.
LRH is now an ascended master on Target 2.
wow you sound so smart.
Jon Stewart's mocking of UC Davis chancellor touches a nerve - comparing her to Hitler
That cop is a natural. He makes handling the pepper spray seem effortless.
He's probably had a lot of practice. :/
K. So your "flat" and a college campus are NOT the same thing. You live, eat and sleep in your own place. You also own or rent it. The bitch who ordered the removal of these students doesnt live on the quad.
She also does not own it, nor did she pay for it. The students did. Thanks for your opinion anyway shit-for-brains.
Who was the bitch that ordered the removal of the students' tents? Did she work for the college?
All mine in one handy place:
LOL @ U because you missed where the author of Trolls News put a big red box that said "Disregard, I suck cocks"...
Also LOLing @ U because you think I do Trolls News and that was my opinion and U MAD...
OMG Noooooooo! Not Christopher Robin!
And Tigger Too?
She's the chancellor of the university & has the power to order the removal of the tents on college property. http://chancellor.ucdavis.edu/
Actions by Lt. John Pike of UC Davis, also known as 'Pepper Spray Pike', caused a U.S. Marine officer to pen a letter calling Pike's actions "cowardly" and expressed embarrassment at the campus cop's behavior dealing with non-violent protestors. Pike has retired from the Marines and receives a lot of credit for his service. However, is Pike bringing shame to the Marines?
Thanks for the link, Smurf.
Stayed for a few minutes to have a browse around, and found this - http://blogs.ucdavis.edu/common-sense/
- all about stamping out hate and bias and incivilty from UCD campuses, dated Oct 2011.
