  1. Pandalabs: Scilons tracking Anonymous?

Whilst surfing around reading lamestream media chatter about Wikileaks/Anonymous, I came across yet another article trying to explain Anonymous, The 24-hour Athenian democracy on the Economist website. Nothing extraordinary, except that it quotes extensively from an 'expert', Sean-Paul Correll, a threat researcher at Panda Security.

Panda Security? Could that be...yes it's the same Spanish anti-virus company that was causing alarm in France a while back because the founder of the company Mikel Urizarbarrena was a Scientologist. The French government did the same as the Germans did over Diskkeeper, went into a probably silly panic that the evil cult might be putting spyware into their products. A summary of this. I have no idea if the company currently has any Scientology connection.

But still... Panda do seem to be taking a strong interest in the DDOS attacks.

A WWP thread from 2009 discusses Panda.
