The fine is something like $1000 per incident. If yer gonna do a flyer airdrop, you'd probably need a low flying airplane, or a hot air balloon, and a pilot with more balls than brains.

Re: Paging Epic Balloon Tech Guy! Only one chink in your plan there: There's no RPF at Gold anymore. Becuse shrinking cult is shrinking, and perhaps other reasons unknown to me, the Int. Base RPF has been merged with the RPF at Big Blue, and they only stay in the basement making furniture and stuff. No photo ops there, unless they bring them out for construction work. Up at Int. Base you'll see regular Sea Org people doing manual labor from time to time, but they are not in the RPF.

Get a balloon (or series of balloons) big enough to lift this thing fully-loaded above the ground. 3. Attach bubble-maker to balloon(s) 4. Turn it on and float the whole thing over Gold. 5. It is always a ghost town, for Davis to claim there is that many workers there, you hardly ever see them. Bacca can show that they are nowhere to be seen, plus take some other shots and I am sure this has been discussed before. is there a hot ait balloon company in the vicinity willing to fly over Gold? What would the cost be? Can a message by put on it or at least the basket on both sides? AND whoever goes, can take pics of Gold from it?

Being a former balloon person, I can tell you that two dozen 12 inch balloons will float a plastic hand basket, like the kind you'd find at a supermarket, about three feet off the ground. I would imagine you'd need at least nine dozen balloons to float the bubble maker filled with solution. They make giant balloons that are moar liek punch balloons which can float a small child, it'd be easier/cheaper to use one of those as you'd only need one.
Re: Paging Epic Balloon Tech Guy! Perhaps you would like to launch a small child over Gold Base with instructions to toss leaflets when over the appropriate location. Best to pack them a sack lunch, though. Just in case strong winds blow them off course and it takes a while to track them down.

He safely descended by shooting out some of the balloons. The actual event behind the myth was verified by documents provided by the FAA. I think they figured it out that it would take 5,000 regular sized ballons to lift 60lbs.

If you can find the Mythbusters Escape from Alcatraz episode (its on Netflix Watch Instantly), they show how some prisoners made an inflatable boat out of rubber raincoats and contact cement. The boat they made held air and water (sort of). I'm sure someone could turn this raft tek into a balloon tek.

Re: Paging Epic Balloon Tech Guy! Dont know if youve seen them but you can get small blimps that in clear whether could be used quite well, i know some media organisations use them at events to get crowd shots and the like and actually come with a camera mount if you find the right ones

Perfect for making an automated reconnaissance probe that can fly to gold from far enough away that the scilons can't catch you launching it or retrieving it.
