I can testify to the RICO investigation being prioritised by the DOJ. And that the ATF recently had 'talks' with ex-Scifags about the nature and number of arms and ammo at Gold Base. I'm not sure the gummint wants another Waco but my crystal ball says there's gonna be a 'surprise party' in the not too distant future.

It would be an excellent idea to make a video using the data from the above thread to make a video regarding the pattern and practice of the CoS killing animals to silence the critics or judges who own them. Publish to animal rights forums. Some video anons here could do incredible work with that issue, as they could with the whole Crasov issue.

If showing a picture of a gun in a jpeg is "harassment," what about carrying and displaying a handgun in the middle of a crowd at a peaceful public protest, when the protesters are protesting the organization who pays your paycheck. IN other words, has anyone ID'ed that PI with the gun at the protest in the videos? Wasn't that in LA? We need to point out the absurdity of the DA's position and call for the arrest of the PI. If it was super sekrit I wouldn't have been told. I think they want the word out. I'm not the only one...there's a lot of chatter going on about the renewed push on the RICO action. It actually never went away so I'm sure CO$ knows what's going down via their scummy lawyers (who will all be going to Dante's 8th circle of Hell).

Here's the thing...I was obviously pointed out to the cops by the/a CO$fag who filed the "criminal threat" complaint since I'd just arrived at the protest (very late). They asked my name and I was cuffed and put in the car. I was 'detained' but not arrested. It wasn't until I got to the N.East Division station house and met with the detective from Major Case, that I was formerly Mirandised.

It was all so sudden and bizarre, that I don't think I even tried to make a fuss. Besides, I didn't want to be a dick to the two cops who were just doing their jobs -reluctantly it seemed to me.

tl;dr I don't know whether this went down as per the above letter of the law since I wasn't given the option of not going to N.East in cuffs.

Common misconception about Miranda. It applies not to arrests, but questioning. You do not have to have your rights read to you when you are arrested, though most cops will do so to make sure they can begin questioning you ASAP. You only need to be Mirandized prior to questioning or your rights will have become violated.

Funny story/small world. Fred Goldberg now works for the lawfirm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Back in the day, I used to work for a gent name of Jason Flom when I was at Atlantic Records. Jason Flom is the son of Joseph Flom of -you've guessed it- Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Apart from the music stuff though, Jason is a chairman of the Innocence Project as well as various other advocacy groups for 'criminals' such as myself.

A call has just been placed. An email has also been sent to a guy I also worked for at Warner Bros, one Danny Goldberg, former member of the national ACLU Board, currently serving on both the New York and Southern California ACLU boards.

And then there's my local NRA chapter.

A suggestion...

There SHOULD be a masked presence, with info about why they are there - but a little way away from the courthouse, not right outside - somewhere where you'll be talked about by the legal types because word will go around, but one that does not give the impression you are in anyway trying to harras, or influence the legal system (or worse, if the Scilons phone in another fake bomb threat, the police arn't force to take the obviously unavoidable action and move you off). Say 100 yards away or something - somewhere that a portion of people going to and from the courthouse will walk past, but also somewhere with maybe a little higher public foot traffic.

That way, If you've made it plain that you're staying a little way away out of RESPECT for the legal system - you should get EVERYONE'S sympathy and appreciation LAWYERS, POLICE, JUDGES, etc (well, except for the CoS's natch).

Having a masked protest RIGHT OUTSIDE the courthouse does feel like giving the Scilons an opportunity to find a way to use it against us, and as has been said, judges and lawyers don't like theatrics (other than legalistic ones) - but likewise, not having a visible, stong, ANONOMOUS support group handing out info feels like we're letting not just Sean, but Anons who might have to face the same in the future down.


tl;dr: Attend, wear masks, hand out RELEVANT flyers, be grouped say 100 yards away from the courthouse to show respect for the judge and the court.

No, Anonymous should stay out of this. Anonymous is not named in any of the charges, and there is no reason to be there. The church is rubbing their hands and waiting for Anonymous to show their link with this matter ("criminal threats").

By itself, away from the courthouse, there is probably no harm in a little demonstration of support for Sean. You have to think ahead: OSA will use anything Anonymous does in relation to Sean's arraignment to link Anon with making criminal threats. By itself, this wouldn't be considered evidence, but this one incident is not the only thing they've got to use. They will present a whole collection of similar "evidence" (probably just as flimsy) in court, and as a whole this "evidence" will be used to make a case in favor of Co$ and whatever injunctions they pursue. They have done this sort of thing before -- Keith Henson's trial is just one example, and the jury wasn't even allowed to know that the Church Keith was protesting was Scientology.

Sorry if I sound like I'm repeating myself, but this is how OSA works. This isn't about Sean, and the complaint against him isn't Fair Game against him per se. It's about convincing a Judge that Anonymous is a criminal/terrorist organization from whom Co$ needs legal protection. They are waiting for Anons to show up at this arraignment.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY. Do not give OSA ANYTHING that can be used against Anonymous.
